This 21 year old patient from El Cajon, California was referred to Dr. Tom Pousti by Kaiser Permanente for body contouring after significant weight loss.

This patient had lost over 120 pounds and was happy about the weight loss but unhappy about the "saggy skin" and "droopy breasts". She decided to look into breast implants, breast lifting and tummy tuck surgery. She met with Dr. Pousti and discussed all of the potential risks and complications for breast augmentation, mastopexy (breast lifting), and abdominoplasty surgery. She decided to proceed with all of the procedures at the same time because Dr. Pousti had informed her that it would be safe for her to do so.
She also chose silicone gel breast implants to achieve the fullness that she wanted with the most natural looking and feeling implants.

The night before surgery, the patient met with Dr. Pousti to have "markings" performed. All of the incision lines were drawn on the patient and the measurements were made to ensure a successful surgical outcome.

In the operating room, Dr. Pousti and his staff take great care to ensure the safety of the patient and to achieve the results that the patient is wants.

She will wear the abdominal binder and bra and bandeau for one month after surgery. These garments will help protect and support these areas and aid in the healing process. The drains that you see are removed 1-2 weeks after surgery.

This patient is now only 3 weeks out of major cosmetic surgery -- bilateral breast augmentation with silicone gel implants, bilateral breast lifting surgery (mastopexy) and abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) surgery.
