This 43 year old patient from Riverside County was referred to Dr. Pousti. She was interested in finding the best plastic surgeon in Southern California to help her achieve her results. In 2006, she had gastric bypass surgery and lost 170 pounds. She was very happy with the loss of her weight but was not happy with the hanging skin and hanging breasts. She wanted her breasts lifted and alot fuller, she wanted an arm lift and an entire upper body lift.

She felt very comfortable with Dr. Pousti's bed-side manner and extremely comfortable with his surgical experience. Dr. Pousti discussed performing these procedures in two steps (to get the best results with minimizing the surgical risk). The patient and Dr. Pousti both decided to proceed with a 2 stage surgery.

The first stage of the surgery, the patient had her bilateral breast reduction surgery as well as bilateral brachioplasty (arm lifting) and an upper body lift. Four months later, she had her second stage of the surgery which consisted of bilateral breast augmentation with 800cc saline breast implants as well as a z-plasty of the left axilla.

Before the each surgery, Dr. Pousti would perform "markings" on the patient and discuss the exact surgical procedure.

In the operating room, Dr. Pousti does his best to acheive the results that the patient is looking for.

Here is a picture taken in the operating room showing the patient's right side being reduced while the left side has not yet been worked on. This is during the first stage of surgery when the patient just had the breast reduction and no implants were placed. During the second stage of surgery, breast implants were placed for the patient.

The patient is now 2 months post-op the second stage surgery and extremely happy with her new body!
