| This 59-year old patient flew in from Oklahoma to have Dr. Pousti perform her revisionary breast surgery. She was unhappy with her current breast implants (surgery performed by another surgeon). The patient was interested in “round and full” breasts. After reviewing in detail the procedure of extra large breast implants, the patient decided to proceed with revision breast augmentation surgery. 
Dr. Pousti used internal sutures to create an “internal bra” for the new position of the implants which created more fullness and cleavage will be achieved.

The patient is still fresh only 3 days post-op and pleased with her results.
During the recovery process, a bolster dressing is placed to offer support in the areas where the internal repair was performed. This bolster dressing will stay in place for a few weeks to a month. The patient will keep in touch with the office and Dr. Pousti will let the patient know when she should remove it.

| This 34 year old patient from Chula Vista, California was unhappy with the appearance of his chest. He had gynecomastia (a condition in which males develop excess breast tissue). Gynecomastia is also sometimes referred to as the Male Breast Reduction Surgery.
Gynecomastia is defined as the visible or palpable development of breast tissue in boys or men. Gynecomastia is a condition in which males develop enlargement of the breast. This is quite common in adolescents and is often first noted at the onset of puberty. Gynecomastia affects an estimated 40% to 60% of men. It may affect only one breast or both.
Markings were carefully made prior to surgery. The lines represent the areas where the excess breast tissue will be removed to improve the contour of the chest. This procedure removes fat and/or glandular tissue from the breasts for better contouring of the chest.

| This 44-year-old mom from San Diego, California was interested in a body “mommy makeover”, she was unhappy with the post-baby body and wanted to improve her appearance with liposuction(of back) and a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty). 
The patient researched for an experienced mommy makeover surgeon who is also Board Certified. While doing an Internet search, the patient found Dr. Pousti and after seeing countless before and after pictures of Dr. Pousti’s work, the patient decided to meet with Dr. Pousti in his San Diego office.
During her consultation, the patient was able to speak with post surgery patients who were willing to share their experiences with her. The patient was convinced that Dr. Pousti was the best surgeon for her and decided to proceed with tummy tuck surgery (abdominoplasty).
Dr. Pousti takes his time to mark and measure the patient for the planned procedure the night before surgery. At this time, the risks and benefits were reviewed in detail again.
Markings are re-measured and re-marked to assure as much symmetry as possible.
After pregnancy, the muscles separate and sometimes the abdominal muscles do not “bounce” back and due to loss of skin elasticity, the skin around the abdomen is loose and hangs.

| A 50 year old female from Utah came to Dr. Pousti for revisionary breast surgery. She researched for a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who is experienced in extra large breast augmentation and found Dr. Pousti on the Internet. Impressed with Dr. Pousti’s website before and after pictures, the patient contacted Dr. Pousti.
Unhappy with the shape and size of her previous implants (done by another surgeon) she was interested in “round and full” breasts. After reviewing in detail, the risks and complications of extra large breast implants, the patient decided to proceed with revisionary breast surgery.

| A 24 year old female from San Diego, California was interested in Breast Enhancement Surgery. This mother of 2 was unhappy with the appearance of her breasts due to breast feeding. She wanted to have Breast Augmentation & Mastopexy (breast lift) Surgery to give her fuller, “perkier” breasts again. After researching online for board Certified Plastic Surgeons she found Dr. Pousti, Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. She was very impressed with all of his experience and before and after photos of previous patients. 
During her examination Dr. Pousti said that she was a great candidate for Breast Augmentation Surgery using Silicone Gel Implants and also Mastopexy (breast lift) to achieve her goals.
The patient met with Dr. Pousti the night before surgery to have markings performed to map the surgery in detail. The reason for the breast lifting is to improve the placement of the areola. At this time, the areola is too low and needs to be raised. Once again the planned procedure was explained in detail as well.
The areola will be reduced in size and moved to a more pleasing position on the chest wall. She will have more fullness and “perkier” breasts.
After breast lifting, temporary sizers were used and filled to the patient’s desired look. Dr. Pousti sits the patient upright in the operating room with the temporary sizer in place to determine what size implant will achieve the goals of the patient. Then 600cc silicone gel breast implants were selected and placed under the muscle.

| A 39 year old from Michigan wanted Breast Augmentation Revision Surgery. One of her breast implants (surgery performed by another surgeon) had deflated leaving her with asymmetrical breasts. She was looking to take care of the breast implant deflation.
She was impressed with Dr. Pousti’s experience with revisionary breast surgery so she decided to come in and meet with Dr. Pousti.
