| This 29 year old patient from Chula Vista, California had her abdominoplasty performed in early 2011 by a previous surgeon( who was not a board certified plastic surgeon) and was very unhappy with her results. After doing further research she found double board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Pousti and was impressed with his experience with tummy tuck revision surgeries.

During the patient’s consultation with Dr. Pousti she expressed her dissatisfaction with her belly button, uneven scar and the fact that she wanted more muscle repair.

Prior to her revision surgery measurements of the abdomen are taken and markings are made to ensure symmetry is achieved.

The first stage of this patient’s procedure is to repair the damaged abdominal muscles. Abdominal muscle damage can occur due to pregnancy or weight change. During the repair the muscles are brought together to create the desirable waistline.

After Abdominal Muscle Repair

Immediately After Surgery

She is still swollen and it will take months for the swelling to subside. The patient is post op revisionary tummy tuck, belly button repair and scar revision of her abdomen and loves her new look.
