| This 45-year old mother from Lakeside, California (East County San Diego) was unhappy with her post-weight loss, post-baby body. After having 3 children and losing 65 lbs from dieting and exercising she still didn’t have the body she wanted. She wanted the excess skin and adipose tissue to be removed and she wanted a “tight” body.

After her significant weight-loss, due to decreased skin elasticity, she was left with loose excess skin around her abdominal area. The patient was interested in tummy tuck surgery (abdominoplasty), breast lifting (mastopexy) and breast augmentation surgery, also known as a mommy makeover.
The patient researched for the best mommy makeover plastic surgeon in San Diego, and found Dr. Pousti through word-of-mouth. After examining the patient and discussing the patient’s goals, extended tummy tuck surgery was discussed (to remove the “muffin top”).

The patient came in to the office for “Markings” the night before surgery. At this visit, careful measurements were made and the procedures were discussed in detail. The nipple-areola would be raised during the breast lifting surgery, the breast would be fuller with the placement of the breast implants and the extended tummy tuck would take care of contouring the abdominal area.

Markings are re-establish on the day of surgery.
The patient is now 3-months post op surgery with an extended tummy tuck (standard tummy tuck with back lipectomy) was performed with abdominal muscle repair, along with a full breast lift for fullness and saline breast implants filled to 390cc in both breasts for volume. The patient is pleased with the results of her surgery.
