| This 21-year old patient from Chula Vista California, interested in breast enhancement for a few years.
The patient wanted a surgeon that is Board Certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is experienced in her complex case and found Dr. Pousti on the Internet. During the consultation the Dr. Pousti informed her that she had a mild case of tuberous (tubular) breasts deformity. In order to achieve her desired look, the “constriction” would achieve a more desirable and long term result.
Tuberous Breasts have a very narrow base and usually a long skin envelope. Sometimes people refer to “Tuberous Breast” shape as the shape similar to “snoopy’s nose”.
Immediately after surgery. A limited breast lift was performed on the left breast for symmetry. Moderate profile saline breast implants were used and filled to 390cc in both breasts with submuscular placement.
Dr. Pousti demonstrates, when the breast implants settle into the pocket, the breasts would round into a pleasant shape.
The patient is very happy with her results even at this stage. The patient is 4-weeks post-op surgery, the implants will continue to settle down. The scars will continue to fade and we will add more pictures to show her progress.
