| This 38 year old San Diego patient came in to meet with Dr. Pousti regarding a “mommy make-over“. She wanted breast augmentation surgery. Dr. Pousti suggested that she also get a limited breast lift (mastopexy). Dr. Pousti wanted to improve the symmetry between the two breasts and also correct the “constricted breast deformity” as well.

The patient was very unhappy with the breast asymmetry and emptiness of her breasts. She wanted them more symmetrical, fuller and perkier. After deciding to proceed with breast implants and breast lifting to correct her tuberous breasts, she started thinking about liposuction
This patient has tubular breasts. Tuberous Breasts have a very narrow base and usually a long skin envelope. Sometimes people refer to “Tuberous Breast” shape as the shape similar to “snoopy’s nose”. In the most severe cases of Tuberous Breast, a breast lift can be done through an incision around the areola, making the breast into a more rounded shape that the patient will be happy with. In many cases however, a lift is not necessary. The patient should be aware that the final result will take months to see and that they will need to be patient.

Fullness and cleavage increased with 600cc silicone gel breast implants with submuscular placement.
The patient had liposuction of her flanks and inner and outer thighs.
The patient is now 7-months post-op surgery and is extremely happy with her results.
