| This 31-year old patient from Oceanside, California was interested in breast augmentation surgery for several years. The patient was unhappy with the shape and size of her breasts and wanted to enhance her body proportions.
The patient researched for a surgeon who is experienced and Board Certified in Plastic Surgery, after seeing countless excellent before and after pictures of Dr. Pousti’s previous patients, she knew, she wanted Dr. Pousti to perform her surgery. During her consultation, the differences between saline and silicone-gel breast implants were discussed in detail. Because the patient had very little breast tissue, for a more natural look and feel, Dr. Pousti recommended silicone-gel breast implants, and the patient decided to proceed with surgery.
Markings and measurements were made prior to surgery, the patient appears to be slightly asymmetric. Different size implant may need to be used to achieve symmetry.
The patient wanted fullness and cleavage while still looking natural.
In order to achieve her desired look, Dr. Pousti used smooth, round, moderate plus profile silicone-gel breast implants with submuscular placement, 375cc in the left breast and 400cc to obtain the most symmetry possible. The patient is now 4-months post-op surgery and is extremely happy with her results.
