| This 25-year old patient from San Diego, California was unhappy with the size of her breasts and was interested in breast augmentation surgery to enhance the appearance of her breasts.

Her friend, who is a patient of Dr. Pousti, referred her. After seeing her friend’s results, the patient wanted Dr. Pousti to perform her surgery. Saline implants vs. Silicone-Gel breast implants were discussed in detail. Because the patient has very little breast tissue, Dr. Pousti recommended Silicone-Gel breast implants for a more natural look and feel and decreasing the risks of rippling.

Dr. Pousti uses temporary sizers before selecting the amount of cc’s that will be used, to ensure he achieves the look the patient desires. With the sizer’s in place, Dr. Pousti sits the patient up on the operating room table multiple times to make sure he is as close as possible to the patient’s goals.

Immediately after surgery. 616cc Silicone-Gel breast implants were used in both breasts with submuscular placement.
