| This 45 year old from Temecula, California had been interested in a breast augmentation procedure several years. She was referred to Dr. Pousti by a close friend of hers and a previous patient of Dr. Pousti’s. After hearing about her friend’s experience, she was eager to meet with Dr. Pousti. During her consultation, she was able to meet with Dr. Pousti’s previous patient’s that underwent the same surgery that she was interested in, and was able to talk to those patient’s one on one first hand to experience a patient’s perspective on their journey with Dr. Pousti. After meeting with Dr. Pousti and previous patients of his during her consultation, the patient felt that he was the perfect surgeon to perform her breast enhancement surgery.
The patient expressed that she wanted to achieve a natural look with implants that filled out her chest more than her natural breasts. She felt her size “A’ breasts were not giving her the fullness she wanted. Dr. Pousti performed markings on the patient to show the patient exactly where cleavage and fullness would be achieved.
Dr. Pousti and the patient decided to use Silicone Gel Implants. Dr. Pousti used the Keller Funnel method to administer the patient’s implants underneath the muscle. The Keller Funnel method allows Dr. Pousti to administer the implant with a no touch delivery, decreasing the risk of contamination. The narrow opening of the funnel allows for the incision to be minimal, which often leads to less scaring and faster healing for the patient.
Dr. Pousti easily squeezes the implant through the funnel and into the breast pocket.
Dr. Pousti used Smooth Round MPP Gel Breast Implants filled to 600cc to achieve the patient’s goals.
 The patient is now 1 month post-op and is very satisfied with the results of her breast augmentation surgery.
