| This 28-year old patient from Rochester, New York found Dr. Pousti’s website and was impressed by his work. She contacted Dr. Pousti via e-mail and was interested in breast augmentation surgery. The patient expressed her goals and what she would like to achieve with surgery, and after several consultations via phone and e-mail, she decided to fly into San Diego and proceed with breast augmentation surgery.
The patient had breast asymmetry and a mild case of tuberous breasts. A breast lift (mastopexy) can be done through an incision around the areola, making the breast into a more rounded shape. Also at this time, symmetry can be achieved by releasing more constricted tissue in the right breast to appear similar in size to the left breast.
Dr. Pousti takes his time to perform “markings” in great detail and also explain to the patient again the planned procedure.

Immediately after surgery
Dr. Pousti used 325cc in the right breast and 350cc in the left breast, silicone-gel breast implants made by Mentor Corporation.
The patient is now 5-days post-op surgery and is now back in New York recovering nicely. The patient is excited about her new and improved look and will continue close communication via phone and e-mail.
