| This 32-year old patient San Diego, California was interested in breast lift (mastopexy) and breast augmentation surgery. She was unhappy with the size and shape of her breasts.
The patient expressed that she wanted a gradual slope on the top of her breasts and a very natural look. She also wanted the size of her areola reduced.
Markings were performed prior to surgery to indicate how the surgeries would proceed. The “smiley face” indicates the patient’s larger breast (Dr. Pousti will adjust the size of the breast implants and try to achieve better symmetry).
The areola will be reduced and raised so that her breasts are “more perky” after surgery.
Before surgery, the patient did not have much breast volume. When the patient is in the laying down position, her breasts are very flat and sits off to the side of her chest.
After surgery, the breasts are full and sits nicely on her chest wall.
After performing breast augmentation and breast lifting on both breasts, you can see the beautiful result. Dr. Pousti achieved her desired look by using 325cc saline-filled breast implants made by Mentor Corporation. The patient is now 5-months post-op surgery and very happy.
