| This 35-year old patient from Riverside, California is status post breast augmentation surgery in 1999, performed by another surgeon. The patient was unhappy with the positions of her previous implants and wanted more fullness and cleavage. Her implants were placed in the sub-muscular position and were falling into her armpits when she laid down.

The patient was interested in revisionary breast surgery for several years and was searching for the Best Plastic Surgeon in Southern California with experience in breast augmentation revision. Her friend, who is a patient of Dr. Pousti, referred her to San Diego Plastic Surgeon,Dr. Pousti. In order to achieve her desired look, Dr. Pousti suggested that a breast lift (mastopexy) would create the look that she wanted as well as moving the implants from the sub-glandular position to the sub-muscular position.

The patient is sitting in the up right position, markings (arrows) show the fullness desired.

Markings and measurements are performed prior to surgery. This helps Dr. Pousti review the procedure with the patient in detail as well as give him a “road map” while in surgery. You can see that when the patient is laying down on her back, the implants are move to the side.

With a breast lift (mastopexy) and change of plane for the breast implants, fullness and cleavage is achieved.

659cc silicone-gel breast implants were used in both breasts with submuscular placement.
