| This 38-year old patient from San Diego, California was extremely unhappy with the results of her previous breast augmentation surgery (performed by another surgeon).

The patient researched for a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon to perform her breast augmentation revision surgery and found Dr. Pousti on the Internet.

Markings were made in detail the night before surgery. The red lines at the bottom of the breasts indicate where the new pockets should be. The red arrows show where the patient wants more fullness.

The markings are reinforced the morning of surgery. The purple colored area is where the internal sutures will be used to correct the breast implant pocket.

Due to bottoming out, the internal suturing technique were used to create an “internal bra” to improve the implant placement in order to eliminate the double bubble appearance.

Her prior breast implants were removed and replaced with new 550cc silicone-gel breast implants in both breasts made by Mentor Corporation.

Immediately after surgery.

5-days post-op surgery, surgical tape used to reinforce healing of internal sutures. Surgical tape is usually kept on for about 2 weeks.
The patent is 11-months post op and is extremely happy with her new and improved look.
