| This 51 year old patient from Canyon Lake, California had her breast augmentation in 1983 followed by two other revisionary surgeries. The patient was still very unhappy with the look of her breasts and did not feel comfortable returning to her same surgeon. She began her research online for a plastic surgeon that had more experience with revisionary breast surgery and came across Dr. Pousti’s website.

After the patient was examined it was determined that she needed her old implants removed and have work performed on her breast pocket. The patient’s previous breast surgeon over dissected the patient’s left breast pocket which caused the patient’s left breast implant to shift too far towards the center of her chest.

The breast revision surgery was discussed in detail and possible options were reviewed with the patient. In order to correct the implant malplacement and achieve breast symmetry internal sutures would need to be used.

Measurements of the patient’s chest are taken and markings are performed. Markings indicate incision lines and illustrate where the breast pocket will need to be closed.

A small incision is made along the areola and the patient’s previous breast implants are removed. Dr. Pousti then uses internal sutures to close the over dissected portions of the breast pocket. Once the capsulorrhaphy is completed sizers are set in place to determine the size of the implant that will be used.

In order to meet this patient’s desired goals 752cc Silicone Gel implants were used.

The patient is very happy with the results of her revisionary breast surgery.
