| This 32-year old Mommy of 3 from Carlsbad, California was interested in tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), and breast augmentation surgery, also known as a “Mommy Makeover”.
The patient researched for the most experienced mommy makeover plastic surgeon in San Diego and found Dr. Pousti. After reviewing numerous before and after pictures of his “Mommy Makeovers” the patient decided to meet with Dr. Pousti in his San Diego office.
During her examination, Dr. Pousti suggested, she would benefit from an extended tummy tuck (standard tummy tuck with back lipectomy) to help with the “muffin top” and also a breast lift with augmentation would give her a more long-term result.
Markings and mearsurements were made in detail the night before surgery.
After having 3 children, the patient had excess skin and laxity of her abdomen muscles and also had lost the volume in her breasts due to pregnancy and breast-feeding.
(Intra-Operative) Immediately after surgery.
Benelli lift (limited mastopexy, incisions around the areola only) was performed with 492cc silicone-gel breasts implants in both breasts, with submuscular placement. Liposuction was also performed in the back, flanks, and sides to limit any possibilities of a “muffin top” re-occuring.
The patient is now 5-days post-op surgery. She still has the drains in place.
