| This 28-year old patient from Fort Worth, Texas contacted Dr. Pousti via e-mail regarding revisionary breast surgery. She is post-op breast augmentation surgery in 2000, performed by another surgeon. She was unhappy with the mal-position, shape and size of her implants along with the severe rippling.


After several e-mail and phone consultations, the patient decided to fly into San Diego, California for have her breast revision surgery performed by Dr. Pousti. Because the patient has very little breast tissue her previous saline implants were replaced with silicone gel implants to decrease the rippling.

The red markings show where the the previous implants had settled. Due to the lack of fullness and cleavage, the patient was unhappy with her results from her previous breast surgery.

After the previous saline implants were removed, Dr. Pousti performed capsulorrhaphy laterally (sides) to improve the position for the “new” implants. Temporary in-sizers were used and filled to the patient’s desired look. Dr. Pousti refers to pictures that the patient brought in the demonstrate their desired goal. The silicone gel implants were selected and placed.

In order to achieve her desired look; 659cc volume implants were placed submuscularly. She is extremely happy with the results of her surgery and sends updates via e-mail from Texas. She is now 18-months post-op surgery.
