This 32 year old mother of 2 from Massachusetts had been interested in revisionary breast augmentation surgery for over 5 years. She did not like how close her breast implants were in the cleavage area. She also did not like the breast asymmetry. She was searching for the best plastic surgeon to help achieve her revision breast surgery goals.
After extensive online research, she came across double board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Tom Pousti and saw his expertise regarding breast augmentation revision procedures.
After multiple email and phone communications, the patient decided to proceed with breast revision surgery. She and Dr. Pousti discussed performing the internal bra for better positioning of the breasts (currently too close together) as well as the use of ADM (also called Strattice or Acellular Dermal Matrix) for additional coverage and support in the cleavage area.
Above shows the patient in the operating room after measurements and markings are performed. The “green” area indicates where the ADM will be placed. The “red” is where the internal bra (also called capsulorrhaphy) will be performed to separate the breasts.

Tapes and bolster dressings are placed and kept on during the recovery process.
