| This 27 year old patient had been very unhappy with the shape and size of her breasts. She felt that her breasts were “uneven”, empty on top and “droopy”. She wanted to regain the “perky” breasts she once had and fill them out more as well. She wanted cleavage! Her friend recommended that she visit Dr. Pousti because of his experience with difficult breast procedures. She saw that Dr. Pousti has lots of experience with breast lifting as well as augmentation surgery.

The patient had some concavity of the chest wall as well causing her breasts to not have the “look” she wanted. This concavity is sometimes referred to as “pectus” excavatum. In pectus excavatum, also known as funnel chest, the sternum (breastbone) is depressed relative to the rest of the chest wall. Breast implants can be used to camouflage mild to moderate pectus excavatum.

The markings on the breasts show the measurements that Dr. Pousti performs prior to surgery. The “x” mark indicates where the nipple/areola complex will be moved for better placement of the areola on the breasts. The breast lift will also give the patient the “perkier” look she wanted.

When performing the breast lift, both areola are reduced in size as well. On the left breast, the excess skin is also removed for improved symmetry.

Different sized silicone gel implants were used in each breast as well as different profiles. This was done to achieve the best look possible for the patient. As you can see below, immediately after both breasts were finished, the results are amazing. The central “blue” area is where the chest was most depressed and with the breast implants, this depression is camouflaged. It looks like the patient has deep cleavage. The patient is almost 2 months out of surgery and extremely happy with her results.

| This 34 year old from Santee, California was interested in a breast augmentation for several years. She was referred to Dr. Pousti by a close friend and was very impressed with the results Dr. Pousti was able to achieve for his patient’s displayed on his website. After reviewing several cases on the internet, she decided to meet with Dr. Pousti.

During her consultation, she met with several other patient’s of Dr. Pousti to see their results first hand and hear about their experience with Dr. Pousti and his staff. After hearing all the great reviews, she felt even more comfortable. Dr. Pousti determined that the patient would be a good candidate for breast augmentation as well as a limited breast lift. Upon examination, he also suggested to create better symmetry the patient should consider an areola reduction along with her breast enhancement and benelli lift procedure. After careful consideration, she wanted to continue with surgery.

Markings and measurements were performed prior to surgery. During this time, Dr. Pousti is able to explain the procedure to the patient in detail and go over pre-operative and post-operative care. All the risks and complications associated with surgery are also reviewed with the patient.

The markings indicate where the patient would like to see cleavage on her chest and where she would like the fullness to be achieved. Markings are extrememly importation for not only Dr. Pousti, but for the patient to understand what will be achieved after surgery. Below, Dr. Pousti demonstrates where the nipple/areola complex will be located after the implants have been placed below the muscle. He will also reduce the size of the areola during the breast lift to achieve better symmetry between the breasts and areola.

Dr. Pousti encouraged the patient to bring in photos of breasts she “likes” as well as “dislikes”. The poster helps him to narrow down the patient’s goals and clearly communicates what she wants to achieve. The patient wanted a natural look, with cleavage and some fullness on top. She didn’t want her breasts too far apart with outer cleavage.

Before Breast Augmentation/Areola Reduction

After Breast Augmentation/Areola Reduction

Dr. Pousti used 450cc Smooth Round Moderate Plus Profile Silicone Gel implants to achieve the patient’s desired look. The patient is now 1 week post-op at is extrememly satisfied with the results of her breast enlargement, breast lift, and areola reduction.

| This 34 year old patient from San Diego, California was interested in a breast augmentation surgery with a breast lift. The patient was unhappy with the size and shape of her breasts as well as the “droopiness”. She did not like how large her areola were and wanted to reduce the size of her areola. She found Dr. Pousti on the internet and decided to meet with him in person to discuss her options.

The patient and Dr. Pousti decided that breast lifting and breast implants would benefit the patient in achieving her goals. This patient wanted more “perky” breasts will a fuller volume “on top”. She felt comfortable with both Dr. Pousti’s credentials and experience to go forward with both surgeries. The risks and complications were explained to the patient followed by measurements and markings.
Dr. Pousti carefully made markings to refer to during surgery to achieve symmetry.

The patient proceeded to surgery where markings were reinforced prior to starting the procedure. The entire process was explained again to the patient and any questions or concerns she had were addressed.

Below, the picture shows the right breast after the mastopexy and breast implant procedures were performed. There was a significant improvement in the right breast compared to the left.

| This 29 year old patient from Murrieta, California (Riverside County) was interested in revision breast surgery. She searched for an experienced San Diego Breast Revision Surgeon and found Dr. Pousti (who has an office in Murrieta where this patient lives). She met with Dr. Pousti and felt comfortable with his expertise regarding Breast Augmentation Revision Surgery and decided to proceed with her surgery.

She was unhappy with the breast asymmetry, the difference in size of the areola. Her right breast implant also had scar tissue that needed to be removed.

Dr. Pousti and the patient met the night prior to surgery and again the morning of surgery to take measurements and discuss the revisionary breast surgery in detail again. Implant Exchange, Capsulectomy and areola reduction were discussed in detail.

Procedure Performed : Aerola Reduction, Revisionary Breast Augmentation, Capsulectomy, Implant Exchange

The patient is only a few weeks out from surgery but very pleased with the breast symmetry as well as the areolar symmetry.

| This 29 year old from Portland, Oregon had been unhappy with her breast size and the “droopiness” for some time now and was interested in getting breast implants. She wanted her breasts fuller on top and more “perky”. She searched online to find the best Plastic Surgeon for her and found San Diego Plastic Surgeon Dr. Tom Pousti. She was impressed by his experience with breast surgery especially with the larger sized breast implants.

With her tall frame and her goal of “going much larger”, she and Dr. Pousti discussed using saline breast implants and overfilling them to achieve her goals.

After conversations on the phone and communication via email, this patient decided to fly into San Diego for her breast implant surgery with Dr. Pousti. When she met with Dr. Pousti, she discussed her “goals” again in detail and Dr. Pousti made some measurements and markings on the patient.

They discussed performing a minimal breast lift with the incision around the areola on the left side to help with breast symmetry. They also discussed performing an areolar reduction on the right side to match the left.

Before Breast Augmentation Surgery

Immediately after Breast Augmentation Surgery

The procedure performed for this patient was bilateral breast augmentation with overfilled saline breast implants, left sided limited mastopexy and an areola reduction on the right breast.
The type of implants used were 800cc saline, smooth round moderate plus profile overfilled to 1030cc on the right and filled to 1000cc on the left

| This 30-year old mommy was unhappy with her post mommy breasts. She wanted to enhance the appearance of her breasts. Her specific complaints were that her breasts were “saggy” as she explains, asymmetric (left breast is larger than her right breast), and that her areolas were large in size.

She was interested in breast augmentation surgery for several years, and after having kids, she decided to proceed with breast surgery.

Before surgery
In order to achieve her look, breast-lifting surgery was necessary, in her case, the patient would benefit from a limited breast lift also known as the “benelli breast lift”. With the limited breast lift, a minor lift can be performed to achieve a “perky” look without the vertical incision.

Immediately after surgery
The patient had decided on silicone gel breast implants for the natural look and feel. To insure the correction of breast symmetry 2 different volume size implants were used. 492cc was used in the right breast and 397cc in the left breast. Along with the breast lift Dr. Pousti was able to perform areola reduction at the same time..

| This 41 year old patient from San Diego was interested in reducing the size of her breasts. She has uncomfortable with the size and was experiencing shoulder and neck pain. She wanted smaller, “more perky” breasts.

The patient wanted her breasts lifted.

After meeting with Dr. Pousti and showing him what her “goals” were, the patient and Dr. Pousti decided to proceed with breast reduction / breast lifting surgery. She also wanted the excess skin and tissue around the axillary area removed as well.

Markings are performed the day of surgery. As well as “marking” the areas being treated, measurements are taken to ensure as much symmetry as possible.

The “X” indicates where the new nipple/areola complex will be moved to. As the breast tissue is removed and the excess skin is removed, the areola complex is moved to a more pleasing position on the breast mound.

Above shows the right breast being reduced in size and lifted. Showing a nice contrast between the right and left breast (not yet surgically altered). As the breast lift surgery is performed, the areolar size is also reduced to a more pleasing size.

Immediately, in the operating room after bilateral breast reduction surgery.

| This 30 year old Mom of 1 from Temecula, California (Riverside County) had lost a significant amount of weight and was wanting to improve herself before getting married this fall. She wanted a mommy makeover with breast surgery as well as tummy tuck surgery.

She wanted more fullness in her breasts and wanted all of the excess skin and adipose tissue from her abdomen and flanks removed. She had lost over 135 pounds just be eating right and exercising and she was ready for a change.

She and her family searched online for a Southern California Plastic Surgeon with experience in performing mommy makeovers (breast augmentation, breast lifting and abdominoplasty surgery). They found Dr. Pousti and communicated via email and then came in for the consultation. She and Dr. Pousti took a look at her skin elasticity as well as her current breast tissue and her goals to be “much bigger” and decided to proceed with breast augmentation with overfilled saline implants, benelli breast lift and extended abdominoplasty (tummy tuck that extends into the back with a flank lipectomy).

Dr. Pousti performed markings the morning of surgery. The markings involve Dr. Pousti taking measurements, drawing on the patient as to how the procedures will take place and going over the procedures in detail with the patient one more time.

The measurements are checked and re-checked prior to surgery. You can see below all of the measurements on the patient’s back. Dr. Pousti takes great care to remove as much as possible without jeopardizing the patient’s recovery.

Below you will see the excess skin pulled back in the operating room to expose the separated abdominal muscles

Here you can see the upper abdominal muscles which will be sewn together (as they have been on the lower part) to give the patient that “tight” abdomen she was wanting.

In the operating room, you can see the breasts and tummy being worked on.

Immediately after surgery in the operating room… with fuller, larger breasts and flat tummy. She had breast implants, minimal breast lift around the areola and extended abdominoplasty surgery.

| This 22 year old patient from Rancho Cucamonga, California (Riverside County) was interested in breast augmentation surgery. She didn’t like how her breasts “drooped”. She wanted fuller, perkier breasts. She also wanted to improve the breast symmetry (her right breast was larger and lower than her left breast). She knew she wanted breast implants.

She researched online for a Southern California Plastic Surgeon who specialized in Breast Surgery and found Dr. Pousti. She liked that he was double board certified in Plastic Surgery as well as General Surgery. She also liked the fact that surgeries were performed in a hospital setting instead of in the office. She and Dr. Pousti met and discussed the fact that she needed not only breast implants but also mastopexy surgery. She proceeded with scheduling her breast augmentation / breast lifting surgery.

Markings are performed the night prior to surgery or the morning of surgery. Measurements are performed during the markings and these measurements are used during the procedure to achieve as much symmetry as possible. During the procedure, temporary sizers are placed and adjusted until Dr. Pousti feels comfortable that the results are as close as possible to what the patient wanted to achieve. The red “X” indicated where the nipple/areola complex will be moved to during the breast lift (mastopexy) procedure. When the breast lift is performed, the areola size is also reduced.

The patient is sat up several times during the procedure for Dr. Pousti to adjust size, shape and symmetry of the breast implants and breast pockets.

Above is a photo with the right side “lifted” — nice comparison when compared to the left side.

| This 27 year old patient from La Mesa, California was interested in breast enhancement surgery and after searching for a board certified plastic surgeon she decided to go with Dr. Pousti for her breast procedure. The patient wanted to increase her breast size and upper fullness. In order to achieve this look Dr. Pousti suggested a breast lift, also known as a mastopexy, along with implants.

Before the surgery the patient meets with Dr. Pousti to discuss the planned procedure, during this visit measurements are taken and markings are made to indicate incision lines.

These markings are re-checked when the patient is in the operating room and necessary adjustments are made.

This patient had a large distance from her shoulder to her nipple/areola complex. To create a more symmetric look Dr. Pousti performed a breast lift to move the complex upwards to a more pleasant location. When the nipple/areola complex is moved, the areola size is also reduced for better aesthetics.

After the breast lift is performed and the breast tissue is re-arranged a sizer is set in place to determine the size of the implant need to give the patient her desired look.

When the sizers are in place the patient is placed in an upright position so that her breasts can be evaluated and compared to the pictures she brought in prior to surgery.

In this patients case a 457cc Silicone implant was used in both of the patient’s breasts. The patient is extremely happy with her initial results.
