Breast Lift with Implants Patients

This 27 year old patient had been very unhappy with the shape and size of her breasts.  She felt that her breasts were “uneven”, empty on top and “droopy”.  She wanted to regain the “perky” breasts she once had and fill them out more as well.  She wanted cleavage!  Her friend recommended that she visit Dr. Pousti because of his experience with difficult breast procedures.  She saw that Dr. Pousti has lots of experience with breast lifting as well as augmentation surgery.

The patient had some concavity of the chest wall as well causing her breasts to not have the “look” she wanted.  This concavity is sometimes referred to as “pectus” excavatum. In pectus excavatum, also known as funnel chest, the sternum (breastbone) is depressed relative to the rest of the chest wall. Breast implants can be used to camouflage mild to moderate pectus excavatum.

The markings on the breasts show the measurements that Dr. Pousti performs prior to surgery.  The “x” mark indicates where the nipple/areola complex will be moved for better placement of the areola on the breasts.  The breast lift will also give the patient the “perkier” look she wanted.

When performing the breast lift, both areola are reduced in size as well.  On the left breast, the excess skin is also removed for improved symmetry.

Different sized silicone gel implants were used in each breast as well as different profiles.  This was done to achieve the best look possible for the patient.  As you can see below, immediately after both breasts were finished, the results are amazing.  The central “blue” area is where the chest was most depressed and with the breast implants, this depression is camouflaged.  It looks like the patient has deep cleavage.  The patient is almost 2 months out of surgery and extremely happy with her results.

This 41 year old patient from Corpus Christi, Texas had been unhappy with the size and shape of her breasts for several years. After extensive research she knew she was interested in proceeding with cosmetic surgery. The patient was interested in finding a surgeon around her area until she came across Dr. Pousti’s website. The ‘x’ markings on the breast indicate where the nipple/areola complex should be expected to be when the breast lift is completed. Once the nipple/areola complex is relocated the skin underneath is removed and the breast tissue is rearranged to give the breasts a more firm and perky look.

Sizers are then placed, filled with air and the incisions are temporarily closed. The patient is then placed in an upright position to make sure that her goals are being met.

275cc Silicone Gel implants were used in the patients breast to achieve the look she was going for.

The patient is post op breast augmentation/mastopexy with silicone gel implants and is very happy with her initial results.

This 33 year old from Santee, California was interested in a breast augmentation and breast lift combined surgery. This 44 year old from Riverside, California was interested in a breast lift, breast implants, as well as a nipple reduction. She had been considering these surgeries for several years and was trying to find the most experienced surgeon in riverside county to perform them. The patient searched the internet for board certified plastic surgeons with websites that showed actual results of patient’s. After breast lifting, sizers are placed temporarily to determine the size the implant needed. Dr. Pousti sits the patient upright in the operating room with the temporary sizer in place to ensure symmetry. Patient’s are encouraged to bring it photos of breasts they like so he can hang them on the wall in the operating room and refer to during surgery.

Saline implants filled to 440ccs were used in both patient’s breasts in order to achieve her desired look.

This 33 year old from Harker Heights, Texas was interested in a Mommy Makeover procedure, usually consisting of combined procedures which may include an extended abdominoplasty, breast lift, breast augmentation and liposuction. She had been upset with her abdominal area and breasts for several years after multiple pregnancies. Dr. Pousti uses a ‘tailor tacking’ method when performing markings for breast lifting procedures. This method allows Dr. Pousti to assure that symmetry is met when rearranging the breast tissue as well as the nipple/areola complex. 600cc Silicone Gel Breast Implants were used along in combination with the breast lift achieve the patient’s desired look.

After Breast Lift/Augmentation

During the tummy tuck portion, Dr. Pousti removes all of the excess skin from the abdominal and lower back and also tightens the abdominal wall that is separated during pregnancy and/or weight gain. Before final sutures, the patient’s belly button is brought through a new hole, revising the belly button appearance. Once the excess skin has been removed and the internal abdominal repair has been completed, the stomach is flat and smooth.

She is only 1 week post-op, but is already extremely satisfied with her immediate results.

This 21 year old patient from Lakeside, California was interested in removing her current implants and replacing them with much larger implants. She decided to proceed with Dr. Pousti for her breast procedure after finding out that he was very experienced with plastic and reconstructive surgery. She had procedures performed by him before and felt very comfortable with his work.
