This 33 year old nurse had been thinking of breast augmentation surgery for years and finally decided that timing was right for her to have her surgery.
She read about Dr. Pousti’s experience with breast surgery online and felt very comfortable with him as her surgeon. She discussed her goals with Dr. Pousti as well as the slight breast asymmetry she currently had.
Markings and measurements were performed prior to surgery. The breast with the “smiley face” indicates the larger size and Dr.Pousti let the patient know that although he does not promise perfect symmetry, he will do his best to improve things for her.

As a registered nurse, it was so important for me to find a doctor to perform my breast augmentation whom I felt confident about and could deliver the results I expecting. After researching online for months, I came across Dr Pousti who had great reviews on Yelp and real self. In March, I called and scheduled a consult and when I met Dr Pousti and his staff I knew right then and there this is who I would chose (side note: they require a $100 consult fee which goes towards your surgery).
Dr Pousti has great bed side manners-is very honest and attentive, has a great personality, and I instantly felt a connection with him. I knew I could trust him & I never once felt pressured by him-And that is what is so important to me. Working in the medical field, I don’t come across many doctors like him-he is definitely on of a kind. His staff is also amazing! They make you feel so comfortable & they genuinely care. Kudos to the staff for being so sweet!! Prior to me coming in for my initial consult I was told to create a collage of goal photos I was trying to achieve. Aka my boob collage! I found it so easy to look through Dr Pousti’s website & real self and found woman with similar height and weight as me. I wanted to make sure my goals photos were attainable and reasonable. (Obviously, 400 cc on a 5’7 woman/130 lbs would look totally different with someone who is 5’2/130 lbs). Through my goal photos I learned that woman have different body shapes, some women’s breasts are further apart so the outcome would look different with someone who’s breast are naturally closer together. I also included photos of breasts I did not like. I made sure to highlight why I liked each photo using words such as fuller, round, cleavage, etc.

During the consult I met with Dr Pousti and learned more about him, his credentials (he is a double board certified surgeon!). He also got to know me on a more personal level-reasons for me wanting a breast aug, my goals, etc. He is selective when choosing which clients he will work with, making sure that they are in it for the “right reasons” & are mentally and emotionally prepared for such a big procedure.
The consult also consisted of me taking measurements, trying on sizers based on the number of cc I was hoping to go with (I tried on 375cc-475cc). Also had a chance to see how I would look with 425cc and 475cc on the 3D vectra imaging system they use. Which was so awesome! I knew at that point I didn’t not want to go any bigger than 425 cc, especially due to my frame. I am petite! I do work in the medical field and I personally wanted a size that was appropriate for me to be around my colleagues, patients, and family.
Another things that sets Dr Pousti apart from others is that during your consult you are able to meet with other patients who are 1 week/1 month post op to learn about their experience & to answer any questions that you have. It was nice for them to share their personal stories! The patients I met with were so happy with their results -which says a lot about Dr Pousti’s experience as a surgeon. Thumbs up! The consult lasted about 1.5 hours-2 hours. I had all my questions answered and never felt rushed!
