| This 44 year old from Riverside, California was interested in a breast lift, breast implants, as well as a nipple reduction. She had been considering these surgeries for several years and was trying to find the most experienced surgeon in riverside county to perform them. The patient searched the internet for board certified plastic surgeons with websites that showed actual results of patient’s. She was very impressed when she came across one of Dr. Pousti’s many websites. She read all about his training and was very amazed when she discovered that he was double board certified. After reviewing his entire website, she felt the results he was able to achieve for his patient’s were phenomenal and she knew she wanted Dr. Pousti to perform her surgeries.
The patient met with Dr. Pousti and felt so comfortable with him that she scheduled surgery immediately. She met with Dr. Pousti several times to discuss her pending procedures. During these visits she expressed that she felt her natural breasts were lacking volume and cleavage. She also expressed concern about the size of her nipples. The patient and Dr. Pousti felt that the patient would benefit from a nipple reduction along with her breast lift/augmentation.
Measurements and markings were completed the night prior to surgery. During measurements of the breasts, Dr. Pousti is able to show the patient where her cleavage will be, as well as her new areola/nipple location. The risks associated with breast lifting, breast implants, and nipple reduction are also discussed with the patient during this time.
After breast lifting, sizers are placed temporarily to determine the size the implant needed. Dr. Pousti sits the patient upright in the operating room with the temporary sizer in place to ensure symmetry. Patient’s are encouraged to bring it photos of breasts they like so he can hang them on the wall in the operating room and refer to during surgery.
Saline implants filled to 440ccs were used in both patient’s breasts in order to achieve her desired look.

Along with the patients breast lift and breast augmentation, she wished to have a nipple reduction performed as well.

After the breast lift, breast augmentation, and nipple reduction are performed, the patient’s breast are much perkier, fuller, and symmetry has been achieved.
The patient is still very fresh post-op, but is very pleased with her results.

| This 42 year old patient from La Jolla, California had been thinking about Breast Augmentation surgery as well as Nipple Reduction surgery. Her right breast was smaller than her left breast so she wanted to improve the symmetry with breast implants. She also did not like how large her nipple were.. she wanted them reduced in length.
Large nipples can be bothersome to a woman’s appearance. Whether the nipples are long or have a large circumference, women find it uncomfortable in clothing and in the nude. Sometimes the nipples are large due to genetics or happen after childbirth and/or breast feeding.
Nipples that are too long either droop down or project too far out. Usually, to create a shorter nipple length, the tip of the nipple will be removed and sutured for closure. Sometimes the skin along the neck of the nipple will be removed. In those circumstances, the tip of the nipple is then sutured to the bottom of the nipple, creating a shorted nipple length.
The patient is very pleased with her breast augmentation surgery with Silicone gel breast implants: 421cc right breast, 397cc on the left breast.

| This 41-year old patient from San Diego, California was interested in breast augmentation surgery. She was unhappy with the volume of her breasts and wanted more fullness and a round look. She was searching for a San Diego Plastic Surgeon who had experience with breast surgery.
The patent also interested in nipple reduction surgery, sometimes the nipples are large due to genetics or after childbirth and/or breast-feeding.
The patient was referred to San Diego Breast Surgeon Dr. Pousti by a previous patient. After meeting with Dr. Pousti to discuss her mommy makeover, she knew that Dr. Pousti was best surgeon for her.
Due to some asymmetry, Dr. Pousti used different amounts of cc’s in each breasts to achieve as much symmetry as possible, along with limited breast lift surgery.
After breast surgery, markings were made to decrease the size and diameter of the nipples.
Saline breast implants were used and filled to 600cc in the right breast and 580cc in the left breast with submuscular placement.

| This 37 year old patient was interested in breast augmentation, breast lifting on her right side and nipple reduction surgery. After having 3 children left her with asymmetric breast hypoplasia; right breast tosis and bilateral nipple hyprotrophy.
To correct this patients asymmetry a mastopexy (breast lift) was planned and markings of this procedure were made prior to surgery. Careful measurements were made as well to insure that both breasts would have a symmetrical result.
Prior to surgery the patient in sat up in the upright position on the operating room table and measurements are re-checked.
Once the mastopexy of the right breast is completed sterile breast implants are placed in a submuscular position through a periareolar incision.
Following the breast augmentation Dr. Pousti performed bilateral nipple reduction. Markings are made prior to this procedure as well; the purple marked portion colored in on the ‘neck’ of the nipple indicates where the skin removal will take place.
Once the skin along the neck of the nipple is removed the tip of the nipple is then sutured to the bottom of the nipple, creating a shorted nipple length.

 This patient underwent nipple reduction, breast augmentation with silicone gel implants (533cc right, 575 left side) as well as a circum areolar (doughnut) lift on the right side and nipple reduction surgery.
She is extremely pleased with her initial results.

| This 32-year old patient from San Diego, California was interested in breast augmentation surgery and nipple reduction.
She was uncomfortable with the projection of her nipples and wanted surgery to reduce the nipples in size, while enhancing her breast size and shape.

In order to reduce the nipple projection, the tip of the nipple will be removed and sutured closed. Depending on the severity of the case, sometimes the skin along the neck of the nipple will be removed. In those circumstances, the tip of the nipple is then sutured to the bottom of the nipple, creating a shorted nipple length.
The patient wanted to look extremely natural and in order to achieve her desired look, Dr. Pousti used saline breast implants and were filled to 370cc in both breasts, placed under the muscle. The patient loves her results.

| This 35-year old patient from La Mesa, California was interested in breast augmentation surgery and nipple reduction surgery. She was unhappy with the size of her breasts and was also uncomfortable with her large nipples, sometimes the nipples are large due to genetics or happen after childbirth and/or breast-feeding.. Her friend, who is a patient of Dr. Pousti, referred her.
During her consultation with Dr. Pousti, the patient expressed what she wanted to achieve with surgery and also brought in pictures to show what her goals are. She knew that Dr. Pousti is highly experienced and after several consultations, she decided to proceed with surgery.
The morning of surgery, Dr. Pousti takes his time to discuss the patients goal again in detail while performing markings. The patient described to Dr. Pousti that she wanted her nipples reduced and also fullness and cleavage for her breasts while stilling looking natural.
Saline breast implants were used and filled to 520cc in the right breast and 540cc in the left breast, two different amounts of cc’s were used in each breasts in order to achieve as much symmetry as possible.

| This La Jolla patient came in to meet with Dr. Pousti regarding breast surgery. She wanted breast augmentation and nipple reduction. Dr. Pousti suggested that this patient also get a limited breast lift (mastopexy) but the patient did not want the scars associated with that surgery.

| This 30-year old patient from Ontario, Canada was interested in tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), breast augmentation and nipple reduction surgery. The patient wanted an experienced “Mommy Makeover” surgeon to perform her surgery and found Dr. Pousti on the Internet.
After extensive research and preparations, the patient decided to fly into San Diego to proceed with surgery.
The night the patient flew into surgery, Dr. Pousti perform markings on the patient to measure everything out and discuss the surgery again in detail.
Again, markings are reinforced for the planned procedure.
In order to achieve her desired look, 339cc silicone-gel breast implants were used in both breasts with submuscular placement. Breast augmentation is performed first and prepares the patient for nipple reduction surgery.
The patient was unhappy with the size of her nipples, due to breast feeding the nipples became enlarged.
Measurements made to reduce the projection and diameter.
Dr. Pousti shows the difference between the right nipple reduction completed and the appearance of the protusion of the left nipple.
The loose excess skin which lost it’s elasticity was removed and the healthier, better quality of skin is then pulled down and the “new” skin is sutured around the existing belly button.
The patient is now 3-weeks post-op surgery and is very pleased with the results of her surgery. She continues to heal and will be in touch with Dr. Pousti via phone and e-mail.
