| This 22-year old patient was looking for a San Diego Surgeon experienced in breast augmentation surgery to perform her surgery. The patient was unhappy with the size and shape of her breasts and wanted rounder and more fuller breasts.
She found Dr. Pousti on the Internet after seeing many cases with complex breast surgeries, she knew she wanted Dr. Pousti to perform her surgery. She met with Dr. Pousti and during her examination Dr. Pousti informed the patient, she had a mild condition of constricted, tuberous (tubular) breast deformity. An incision around the areola to lift the breasts, making the breasts into a more rounded shape, would correct the breast deformity. After reviewing her options, the patient decided to proceed with surgery.
Measurements and markings were performed the morning of surgery in great detail. Due to the constriction of the breasts, Dr. Pousti released the tight skin under the breast fold and created a pocket for the implants to settle into.

Over time the breasts will round out into a more desirable shape.
