| This 37-year old patient from Santee, California (East San Diego County) was interested in tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), breast lift, and breast augmentation surgery also known as a “mommy makeover”.
After 2 pregnancies and breast-feeding her children, the patient became unhappy with her post-baby body. In 2003 the patient had gastric bypass surgery and she lost a significant amount of weight and decided it was time to do something about her extra loose skin.
The patient researched for an expert plastic surgeon who works with massive weight loss patients and who performs “mommy makeovers” routinely. The patient met with Dr. Pousti at his San Diego office and from meeting with post tummy tuck surgery patients who were willing to share their experiences with her, the patient knew Dr. Pousti was the best plastic surgeon for her.
The patient was concerned about her breasts being asymmetric (different in size, shape) so Dr. Pousti took careful measurements the night before surgery and re-checked them again the morning of surgery.
Markings were made the night before surgery with the patient laying down as well as standing up and details of the surgery were reviewed with the patient.

In order to achieve her desired look, a full lift was performed with saline breast implants, filled to 625cc in the left breast and 605cc in the right breast to correct for the asymmetry.
The patient is now 7-months post-op surgery and is very excited about her much improved mommy look.
