| This 23-year old patient from San Diego, California was interested in breast augmentation with breast lift surgery to improve the size and the appearance of her breasts.
The patient was unhappy with the volume lost in her breast from pregnancy and breast-feeding. The patient wanted an experienced “Mommy Makeover” surgeon and found Dr. Pousti while researching for a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon on the Internet. After meeting with Dr. Pousti in his San Diego office, the patient knew he would be the best surgeon for her and decided to proceed with surgery.
Dr. Pousti marks and measures the breasts in detail prior and during surgery.
The patient is slightly asymmetric. Her right breast is larger than her left.
Dr. Pousti checks for symmetry throughout surgery.
Because of the asymmetry, a breast lift was performed with an ”anchor” incision under the right breast inflammatory fold.
Silicone-gel breast implants were used with submuscular placement. In order to as much symmetry as possible 492cc was used in the left breast and 533cc in the right breast. The patient is now 4-weeks post-op surgery and very happy with her results.
