Hi !

I am from Canada  and I wanted to share how glad I am to have chosen Dr. Pousti to do my latest breast surgery . Last fall after a breast augmentation surgery (here in Canada) I wasn’t really satisfied with the results. After going on the web, I came across a few girls whom I really like the results of their breast surgery and then found out that their Doctor was Dr. Pousti. So I went to his website. I was really impressed but I thought that California was pretty far away from home for a surgery since I live in Eastern Canada.

But after inquiring with out of states patients, I decided to send an email. I was answered pretty quickly. As a fly-in patient from the Pacific Northwest, let me start with the most important aspect of selecting Pousti Plastic Surgery “ the people and their professionalism”. I had been contemplating cosmetic surgery for some time to correct a dropping upper eyelid and I knew that my breasts needed some work. The implants I had done 12 years ago simply weren’t perky anymore and I also wanted to go bigger. Visited several PS’s in our area and never really found a PS that I felt comfortable with, I got the impression that they were hesitant with the size I wanted to go to.

My husband and I started looking on the internet and we kept coming up with Dr. Tom Pousti’s name on various sites. Which is where we found Dr. Tom Pousti Surgery website and we were both very impressed with the testimonials on the varies websites as well as Dr. Pousti’s own web pages. I decided to send an inquiry e-mail that was promptly answered by Margie and that in turn lead to a phone discussion with Dr. Pousti. The doctor took all the time that we needed on this phone call. It was very satisfying to finally find a doctor that listened and acknowledged every question, desire and concern I had. One is naturally nervous about going out of country and having surgery done by someone that you have never personally met but when I finally had my in office consultation with Dr. Pousti I was sure that I had made the correct decision. Dr. Pousti came and did his drawings on my eyes and breast and we chatted again about the picture of the new breasts that I wanted. Once in the operating room, Dr. Pousti kindly held my hand while the other doctor put me to sleep.

I woke up with new eyelids and the march larger breasts that I had wanted. Dr. Pousti told me that what was needed for the size I wanted was 1220 cc’s of the saline implants. I know sounds kinda scary, but my body type just seems to swallow implants. So basically I went from a C cup to a DDD or G cup.

I am extremely happy with the work on my eyelids and excited about my new beautiful big breasts.

Dr. Pousti has a large number of patient’s flying in from different towns / states to have their procedure performed by him. Many people find La Jolla, San Diego Cosmetic Surgeon, Dr. Pousti on the internet and want to know how to get started from out of state. We try to make the experience smooth and easy. Some of our patients come and visit the sites in San Diego such as the world famous San Diego Zoo, La Jolla Cove, Downtown Del Mar, Old Town San Diego and Sea World.

STEP ONE:

E-mail us with your concerns along with some digital photos of the areas in question. Dr. Pousti will review your e-mail and photos and discuss your options with you either via e-mail or phone. At this time, we will also be able to give you a price for your procedure. Our office does provide financing options for our patients and would be happy to review those with you.

STEP TWO:

If after speaking with Dr. Pousti you decide that you would like to proceed, a few e-mails will take care of the rest of the information that we will need. E-mail your personal information along with the dates that will work for you. Once the surgery date and pre-op date (usually a day or two before surgery) have been confirmed by both parties, payment options will be discussed (payment is due 4 weeks prior to the procedure to reserve the time at the surgery center). Payment can be in the form of cashier’s check or credit card.

We can give you information regarding hotels accommodations, nurses to help after the surgery, etc..so that everything is settled before you arrive. When you arrive for your pre-op visit, we will have paper work for you to review and fill out. Dr. Pousti will perform a thorough examination and discuss everything in great detail with you. If at the time of your visit Dr. Pousti decides that you would not be a good candidate for the surgery, your payment will be returned to you and surgery will not be performed.

STEP THREE:

Dr. Pousti strongly recommends that patients stay in La Jolla or San Diego for a minimum of 5-7 days after surgery (different procedures require different lengths of time and we can discuss your specific situation when the time comes). Our office staff will work around your schedule to get you into the office for your post-op visits. We ask that you keep in contact with us via e-mail and if you return to La Jolla, San Diego, or Temecula, please pay our office a visit (we love to see our patients as often as possible).

I am writing you this letter to let you know how pleased I am with Susan, the nurse who took care of me when I had surgery for my abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and breast augmentation on March 26th, 2012. I originally spoke with Paula Widdle who is the Executive Director of Reliable Recovery, Inc. After talking with Paula, I immediately had a lot of my anxiety level drop. I was extremely anxious about my surgery and the NT knowing was the hardest part for me. She put my fears to a minimum. She had a very calming voice when I talked to her on the phone.
