I always disliked my breasts, but I had never considered breast augmentation until a friend suggested I visit a plastic surgeon. I researched plastic surgery on the Internet and made appointments with several doctors. Dr. Pousti was the second doctor I consulted for a breast augmentation. After that first office visit, I was totally confident that he was the right doctor for me. I loved the atmosphere in the office. I met so many happy patients and was impressed with all of the results I saw. I went from feeling nervous and apprehensive about getting a breast augmentation to feeling excited and impatient to get it done. I was very concerned that my results would be “natural.” I didn’t want to be “the lady with the boobs.” I had 400cc implants that changed my size A to a size C. I was extremely happy because I finally felt more curvy and feminine. Pretty much every time I got dressed in the morning was about how my boobs would look. However, after 4 or 5 months as the implants settled into position, I started to look at them more critically and felt that they were too low and too far apart. I guess that the implants weren’t large enough to fill the space that had been there when I was nursing my babies. I was wishing for more cleavage and more volume on top. Luckily, two important men supported my decision to have revision surgery. The first, my amazing husband, who said, “If it bothers you, then you should do it.” And the second, Dr. Pousti, who listened to my concerns and patiently discussed options. After deciding to go with a much larger silicone implant, the doctor and his staff did everything they could to keep costs down. This, I felt, showed how much Dr. Pousti truly cares about the results of his surgeries and happiness of each patient. I love the cleavage and the slight curve on the top of my breasts that I have with the larger implants. Because I have such little breast tissue or body fat, the silicone was a great choice. It feels so much softer and more natural than the saline did. It’s weird but even though they are much bigger than my first implants, I think they look more natural. It has been two months since my surgery and I have settled into a 34D. I may get a few more looks than I did before which takes me a little bit out of my comfort zone, but I truly feel like my body is balanced and honestly… it’s fun to feel so curvy and sexy.

I think I decided I wanted a boob job around my fourteenth birthday. Everyone else seemed to have boobs except me. For me it was hard not having a chest because I have an extremely large family consisting of five sisters. I looked different from them because they all had nice large boobs which I was not blessed with. When I turned 18, I thought about having my breasts done but I put it off thinking that in time they would get bigger on their own. I got really good at being an illusionist. I would push, pull, tape and pad my chest so that I looked good in clothes. However, at the end of the night I would change back to my real self like a Cinderella. The girl with little boobs. I had my breast augmentation done in May of 2006. It was not an easy decision. It took me eight years to actually go ahead with the surgery! There was always something else that needed to be done and I had not found the right doctor. I work in a hospital and have seen and heard many horror stories. I knew that the hardest part of going ahead with the surgery was going to be finding a doctor I trusted. Many of my friends have had breast augmentation. I knew what to expect. I knew it would not be a “walk in the park”. I interviewed many doctors, but I just never felt quite right about putting my life and my body into their hands. I wanted someone who could see the whole picture. I wanted my body to look a certain way, not just be a certain cup size! He did not throw a bunch of silicone bags at me and say “pick one”. He listened and asked questions as if he was formulating his own plan on what he would do for me and how he would help me achieve my goal. My other BIG concern was post-operative pain. Dr. Pousti and his staff had already covered it and then some! I had all my medications ahead of time, and the surgery center made sure I was taken care of for the ride home. I won’t say it was easy, but they made it as tolerable as it could possibly have been. It was wonderful to know that Dr. Pousti and his staff were available should I need more medication. In fact, he or someone in his office contacted me around the clock to check on my status at home. They are all extremely attentive! From beginning to end, my experience has been impeccable. Dr. Pousti and his staff are the absolute best! Should I choose to have any other surgeries, I would only go to him.

There are no words to express how satisfied I am with my results! My breasts look and feel exactly the way I dreamed they would. Ever since I was young, I have battled my weight. I can vividly recall stepping on the scale during a class assignment in fifth grade and weighing a whopping 175 lbs!! I apologize that I have to dispute your comment that I am EXTREMELY happy with my results after my surgery, Dr. Pousti! EXTREMELY IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT! There is NO word or phrase in any language that can describe how happy I am since I had my tummy tuck surgery with you. My story starts when I was only 19 years old, when I had my first child. I experienced an unexplained weight gain in my seventh month that involved over 100 pounds in less than two months. I have had three children in my time and four different doctors that could only produce a diagnosis of WOW, that can’t be right! Each pregnancy it was the same story, over 100 pounds of weight gain in the last two months of pregnancy. There was a suggestion and finally a diagnosis of diabetes, even though other symptoms did not point to a specific cause. Needless to say, the quick gain and loss of weight destroyed my body over time. I dreamed for 15 years of having my pre-pregnancy body back!
