This 30 year old from Australia was interested in breast revision surgery to improve her previous breast augmentation results. She had researched for a qualified surgeon in her area to perform her revision surgery but felt that none of them reached her expectations. She then found double board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr. Pousti and was extrememly impressed. She wanted to choose a plastic surgeon with experience with breast revision surgery. She felt that Dr. Pousti's website showed many "before" and "after" pictures of patients who had the same implant mal position problems as her. Dr. Pousti and the patient communicated through several emails and telephone calls and Dr. Pousti determined an implant exchange and internal sutures to repair the patient's "bottoming out" would help to achieve the patient's goal. The patient decided to fly to California to have her surgery performed and met with Dr. Pousti prior to surgery. Dr. Pousti confirmed that removing and replacing the patient's implants along with performing Capsulorrhaphy would benefit the patient. Dr. Pousti removed the patient's previous implants and used internal sutures to create an internal bra to repair the patient's breast pocket that was causing the implant mal position. Dr. Pousti used 800cc silicone gel implants to achieve the patient's goals. She is now 3 months post-op and extrememly satisfied with her breast revision results.

After many months of planning and saving, I finally got my new 800cc babies (o)(o)!!
I travelled from the Gold Coast, Australia just to see Dr Pousti. Hubby and I planned a wee bit of a holiday around the surgery..so it was all worth it making the trip.
I had contacted Pousti late last year by sending him some photos of myself and goal photos. I had 800cc silicone in my mind, but when he spoke with me over the phone he recommended that I don't get fixated with a number, but concentrate on the look I am wanting to achieve. He suggested possibly getting 800-1000cc with an internal bra due to my bottoming out issue.
I had a pre-op consult a couple of days ago. After meeting with me, he felt 800cc silicone moderate plus and an internal bra would be ideal for the look I wanted to achieve.
I am now taking it easy back at our hotel and am on my second day of recovery. I have admit that it is more painful than my first BA, which I am guessing that it is from the internal bra. But overall it is nothing I cannot handle. I have a great husband who is taking good care of me :-)
I would highly recommend Pousti and his team to anyone and everyone. Every single person I have dealt with was extremely lovely and professional. The whole process was simple and helped making the distance from Australia worth it.
I loved the fact that Dr Pousti didn't over promise anything and was realistic with me about anything that could happen. As he says, "your breasts are like sisters, not twins" which is so true in every aspect.
I feel so happy with the results and stoked that I got everything that I wanted )
