During high school, I felt very self-conscious of my breasts. I wanted to feel sexy and curvy in all the right places but I couldn’t because I always felt that my breasts were a bit on the smaller side (a B cup to be exact). I was buying the “Miraculous” bras from Victoria’s Secret that would boost my breasts up to 2 cup sizes. Needless to say, it was embarrassing when my breasts would look way smaller when those helpful bras came off or when I wore sexy bikinis. I walked into his Murrieta office and was greeted very warmly by all of the beautiful staff. Vanessa, the office manager, is an absolute sweetheart. She made me feel so comfortable and answered all of my questions with a smile. Now that I think about it, Vanessa has been there since the very first day of my whole process. Thank you for that, Love. I was also even given the opportunity to meet an actual patient that was there for a post-op appointment. After speaking with her and seeing just how gorgeous her breasts were, I was even more confident about Dr. Pousti and what he can do for me. I literally scheduled the date of my operation that day. The entire process was so easy and quick.

Throughout my next few appointments with Dr. Pousti, he did everything he could to make sure that he understood what it was that I wanted from my surgery. I brought many pictures from online that I liked so that he would get a feel of what it was that I wanted. When the day of the surgery came, I was so nervous! The hospital staff was very sweet and assured me that I would be just fine. A few hours later, I woke up on a hospital bed and felt absolutely no pain. I was just sleepy and felt a great pressure on my chest. I was bedridden for the next couple of days, but within a week, I was feeling pretty much back to normal.

It has been almost six months since my operation, and I don’t regret a thing! My breasts still have a bit more settling to do but I absolutely love them. It doesn’t hurt that my boyfriend loves them too! My skin is a bit sensitive so I do have a bit of scarring under my right breast. At my appointment today, Dr. Pousti told me that if I am not satisfied with the way the scar has healed after it has fully matured, he would help me cut the scar out. What really got to me is that Dr. Pousti would do what he can to make sure that I am happy. In fact, every single post-op appointment with him has been most attentive and special. I am so grateful for that because I am sure most doctors would care less long after the surgery.

First and foremost I want to thank Dr. Pousti and his staff for such a positive experience. Prior to meeting Dr. Pousti I had undergone two breast augmentation surgeries. I had my first in 2005 and my second in 2007. In 2007 I maxed out what was the traditional “conservative” plastic surgeon’s recommendation with 800cc silicone implants. I loved the results but I went on to have two amazing daughters which I breastfed back to back in 2010 and 2011. My breasts needed some work. They weren’t as perky anymore and I had lost some of my own breast tissue from nursing. I also had lateral displacement of my implants. Basically, when I laid on my back my breasts went into my armpits which left quite a considerable space in my cleavage area. I also knew I wanted to go bigger. Here is when the research started-I met with my former plastic surgeon and his opinion was that I needed a full anchor lift and all the scarring that came with that. I felt it was overkill and was saddened by the recommendation but I booked my surgery trusting his advice. After more thought, I decided to look into the option of over filled saline implants and maybe a little “pocket tightening”. I first learned about Dr. Pousti from his AMAZING website. The testimonials and photos said it all. I knew I needed to rethink my decision and have a phone consultation with him. I emailed photos (frontal and side) and he got back to me via telephone very promptly. To my excitement he told me he thought I didn’t need a lift. He also was willing to go as big as was safe for my body. I canceled my other surgery and put down my deposit for my surgery in San Diego. The website and staff had wonderful recommendations on which hotels they recommended their patients stay at and the hotels even offered a discount for being his patient. I was also given the name of a great after surgery recovery nurse who went on to do a phenomenal job of taking care of me post op for the first 24 hours. When I met Dr. Pousti for my pre op the day before surgery I instantly knew I had made the right decision to have my surgery performed by him. He is such a skilled, caring and kind person. At my pre op he recommended I have internal sutures placed to correct my implant displacement and promised he would take great care of me. I am absolutely insanely in LOVE with my new breasts. I would never trust my body to another plastic surgeon after meeting Dr. Pousti. As a former model, I can tell you that I almost idolize the man for giving me back the breasts I had before having my children. I would recommend Dr. Pousti to anyone who wants the job done right. Flying out for surgery, especially alone, can be a scary thought but it is such a worthy investment. I have to start out by saying that surgery, in general, is one of the top 3 scariest things in my book. Whether it’s elective surgery or emergency surgery, surgery is surgery and it’s a scary thought. I am a 20 something Mother of 3 kids and after going through pregnancy 3 times, it REALLY takes a toll on your body and your mind. NOTHING is the same as it was before and no matter how much exercise or how many diet plans you try out, you come to the realization that the only alternative is plastic surgery. Looking in the mirror everyday really killed me inside and it really took a toll on my self confidence. That low self confidence then started to play into my marriage to the point where I wouldn’t even feel comfortable in front of my husband (though I must say, he ALWAYS said I was still perfect).

I elected to look into plastic surgery to get an idea of what types were out there and what surgery would be best for me. I decided that the thing I wanted most (and that there were NO diets/exercise to “get back”) were my breasts. I felt that being a full C cup BEFORE children and now dealing with a very saggy B cup (I compare myself to a cow’s utters….honestly) was the problem for me. Mentally, I looked at it from this point of view….I have given my body up to bear 3 children and have given my 3 kids everything that a Mother can give. I have stood beside my Active Duty husband for the past 5 years as he deployed out many times for long periods of time. I have given everything a person can give and don’t regret a single thing that I have been through. In the end, and now that we have decided that we are done having kids and are focusing on raising our kids, I wanted to do something for myself. It was TIME for me to feel like a woman again.

Searching the internet for Plastic Surgeons was a very time consuming thing. I would spend every night on the computer searching and reviewing Doctors and their credentials. I would bookmark pages and pages of possible surgeons and look through hundreds of pictures of their work. When I finally felt that I had viewed all the surgeons that were out there I then started to look into their particular background, schooling, credentials, awards, malpractice lawsuits, experience, and LOADS of other ‘must haves”. I narrowed it down to just a few Doctors and then intensively looked into each other their reviews and end result pictures. I needed to see pictures of women who have the SAME issue as I am dealing with. I needed a woman who was my weight and height and a starting result with an ending result that fit me. I finally got the hit I needed and it was 1000% POSITIVE that the Doctor I wanted to meet was Dr. Pousti. I was SO excited at this point. I made an appointment and counted down the days to meet the person I was looking for this whole time.

Speeding things up a bit (going to TRY to make this short and sweet). I walked into the office and was warmly welcomed. The staff that worked with Dr. Pousti were extremely nice and professional and were happy to answer ANY crazy questions I had. I was examined by the Doctor and he told me that he’s not shy about turning people away if he feels that they are not the perfect candidate. He also said that if what I wanted was NOT practical and was something that he knew (from experience) would NOT be the best for me, he would be very honest and open about it. Having a family full of medical professionals, I know that this type of conversation was a very truthful trusting one. Dr. Pousti promised (and how many Doctors would actually use that word, now a days) that if I put my trust in him, he would make me proud. That was it! I knew in my bones that THIS was the person that I would, ultimately, put my life into the hands of. The rest of the appointment put me at ease and with the staff showing me pictures, answering my questions, giving me REAL input, seeing real life breast augmentations on some of the women there, and even speaking with other patients who were there for their follow-up appointments (who had just had my procedure done)…I was ready to go through with all this.

I was scheduled for my surgery about a month later and the initial leading up to the surgery was a scary one. I had never been put under nor had a surgery done. I was scared. VERY scared! The staff called a few times to make sure I was ok and to answer any questions before hand and to calm me down and talk me through everything. I also received a personal call from Dr. Pousti (which I missed but he left on my answering machine) telling me that I am in great hands and he promises (again) to be there for me the entire way and will hold my hand going through it all. He left his phone number and told me not to hesitate calling for any reason. I said a few prayers and ultimately left it up to God and the Doctor. A calmness rushed through me and I was instantly put at ease. I PROMISE YOU, that’s the TRUTH. I slept like a baby the night before surgery, which is funny because I didn’t sleep a single night through during the previous month. I went to the surgical center on my elected day and had the BEST surgical team I could have wished for. They were funny, and sensitive, and legitimately cared about me. I knew I was in great hands.

I had a breast lift with augmentation and am more than happy with the results. I could not have expected anything better than perfect and Dr. Pousti delivered just that and more. I am currently 3 weeks post op and I am beyond amazed at what I look like. I feel like I am a new me. Things could not be better. During my recovery, Dr Pousti’s staff would call daily to check up on me and answer questions and walk me through anything that I needed help on. They really made this experience the best it could be. I have been to 3 follow up appointments and everything is going the way it should. No issues what so ever. Dr. Pousti sees me at every appointment and takes the time to give me the one on one time I need to go over anything and everything that is happening. I had them done a little over a year ago and I am very satisfied. I was afraid of surgery since I’ve never had surgery in my life and I was 45 then! Surgery went well and quick. You have to stay on top of pain medications after surgery and take it EASY..the healing process is so important and takes time, so be very patient. I didn’t expect my new breasts to change my life, but they did. In a very good way.

Don’t do it because you think it will change your life or make you a better person. You will never be happy if that’s the case. If you decide to do it, be strong and get some support from a friend. Wear a good light bra when you go to bed at night to keep them looking good.

I highly recommend Dr. Pousti and his amazing staff if you are considering breast augmentation. I was extremely comfortable with him. My husband accompanied me to all my consultation appointments. He also found Dr. Pousti very friendly and knowledgeable. What I liked about Dr. Pousti was that he never pushed me into either saline or silicone where other doctors I consulted with wanted me to do silicone. They kept putting down saline saying it was not very natural and I wouldn’t like it at all. Of course, silicone costs a little more, so I didn’t feel comfortable with their “salesy” approach. On the other hand, Dr. Pousti answered all my questions. During the consultation, he even let me MEET his patients that just had surgery! This was very powerful for me since it showed he had a lot of confidence in his work. I was also referred by a friend of mine who had work done with him, as did her other friends. No doubt, I was still scared of surgery, but I joined a site called justbreastimplants.com and got to talk to many women who were in the same boat as myself getting ready to get breast implants. This made me feel even more comfortable with my decision. I still believe that if you are considering breast augmentation, please talk to a lot of surgeons first, but also consider Dr. Pousti. There are so many positive things to say about Dr Pousti and his staff that I barely know where to start, so here is my story from the beginning.

I am in my mid-20s, and ever since I could remember, I wanted larger breasts. Naturally I was an A cup (although Dr Pousti and other doctors I saw believed I was at least a small B, so maybe I was wearing the wrong bra size, who knows?), but always wanted to “upgrade” to the “perfect C cup”. Once I graduated school and landed on my feet with a little extra money saved up, I decided to actually look into the breast augmentation procedure.

I was very very skeptical and nervous about getting breast implants, after all, there were no physical deformities and I did have some breast tissue that could easily be manipulated to look larger. My worst fear was getting a botch boob job! I obsessed constantly and carefully critiqued every doctor and his work before deciding to go and meet any of them. A tip to women looking at doctor reviews: a doctor can have 100 excellent reviews for nose jobs or tummy tucks, but that doesn’t mean anything if you are getting a breast augmentation! Be sure to concentrate on the right reviews and make sure your doctor is a specialist in what procedure you are having done!

I saw 2 doctors before finding Dr Pousti. From the minute I met him, I knew he was the right doctor for me. The other doctors were nice, but we just didn’t click. I feel like Dr Pousti was the only doctor I talked to that understood what my end goal was and then some. He asked me to bring in pictures of what I wanted my results to be, which is what I HIGHLY recommend even if you decide to go with another doctor. As he told me, my idea of a C cup and his idea of a C cup could be completely different. A visual representation of what I actually wanted is the only way to really get accurate results. To my surprise, the photos I brought in were actually patients who ended up with a D cup or larger! Dr Pousti actually takes the pictures into the operating room with him so he can get your results the closest he can to what you want. I will admit it was a little nerve racking going into the OR not knowing a size beforehand, but after it was all over, I wouldn’t have done it any other way. The other doctors used a bra in their office and just put the implant over my breast and “guaranteed” me they would be the size I wanted…WRONG! You can’t put an implant under your shirt and expect the final result to be accurate. Everyone’s body is different and sticking an implant under a shirt will not give you an accurate end size. The sizes that the other doctors wanted to use were significantly smaller than what I actually ended up with and I would have probably ended up getting them redone.

Dr Pousti is very honest. If he does not feel he can get an A+ result, he will not take that patient. He tells you exactly what to expect and lets you know upfront what the risks are and also that even though you have a perfect image of what you want to be, it is not always possible since everyone is different. No other doctor I visited even muttered those words to me. I know putting your body image in the hands of basically a complete stranger is very unsettling, but one visit with Dr Pousti and his staff, your mind will be at ease. He even lets you talk to actual patients who are there on appointments. You can see his work first hand and given the privacy to ask those patients for their honest opinion and for their advice. What other doctor will let you do that? Knowing that he has such confidence and skill in his work that he lets you talk to actual patients really says a lot for what kind of doctor he is and how good his work is.

The staff is always pleasant and patient. After my surgery, I must have called every other day asking if what I saw was normal, they never complained, never were rude, and were very professional on the phone and in the office. They understood that this was the first time I ever had any type of surgery and my questions and concerns were normal, even though they may hear them every day. They call you every day after your surgery to make sure you are doing well, even over the weekend! Dr Pousti is also very patient and understanding, I even requested a second consultation appointment before my surgery so my husband could come and meet him, and he was more than happy to do so. He answered all our questions and was very understanding to both of us.

Thank God I found Dr Pousti! He is a specialist in breast augmentation and does dozens every week or so. By the day of surgery, I had decided numbers don’t mean anything to me; I was no longer going to concentrate on what size implant I was getting. I gave him my pictures and told him my expectations, he is the specialist, not me, and so I was going to let him do his job based on what I had told him. I hired him because he is the best at what he does and I was going to trust him to do a superb job on me. The final size we agreed upon before going into surgery: Keep em’ guessing. I didn’t want my new girls to look super fake, but I didn’t want it to look like I didn’t get anything done. My end result is just that! The surgery center is great, the anesthesiologist and Dr Pousti hold your hand while you are sedated. Dr Pousti uses sizers in the OR to find out what size you need to get to your requested size before putting in the permanent implant. I wouldn’t recommend anything else! Don’t settle on a size before going into surgery, because honestly, you won’t know what it will look like until the job is actually done!

Currently I wear a 34D in Victoria’s Secret, depending on the style a DD! With anything else, I would have been super unhappy. I have been out in San Diego and Las Vegas and have gotten compliments from other WOMEN on how perfect my girls look. Not to brag, but Dr Pousti did give me the perfect breasts!

Before working in the Intensive Care Unit, I worked at a plastic surgery recovery house in La Mesa and La Jolla, California. There I took care of all types of patients recovering from their desired surgeries, including an abundance of mommy patients who had tummy tucks and breast augmentations. At six weeks post-op I started running again, and never have I ever felt so grand in my life!

When I first met you and your staff, I knew it had to be you to perform my surgery. I could tell that with your honesty with me in going over how extensive it was going to be and that it would be a challenge, your being double board certified, your knowledge and experience of the techniques that were needed for my surgery, and listening to and understanding of my concerns, as well as time you spent with me answering my questions and explaining the procedure you would do, you had to be the one to perform this. To fix me, really. Also to know of and see the pictures of girls that you performed this type of surgery on before, and their incredible results, just sealed the deal for me.

When my sister told me that her and two of our friends were considering getting a breast augmentation. I told them they just had to meet you. I was so scared to go through surgery again, since my first one with that doctor in Mexico was really bad. Terrified actually. But you reassured me that you’ve done this before, and explained all of the things you were going to do, how my healing time (post-op) would be, etc. Your confidence in the surgery and results of it, and patience and consideration of my feelings really reassured me that I was going to be okay. My husband helped also by reminding me of what you’ve said any time my worries came back again. The surgery center was so wonderful. Michelle, my nurse, was so sweet. I felt like I was on my way to get a facial and massage the way she was so caring and trying to help me relax, not surgery! I have never been to a physician’s office or surgery center before, and felt so… taken care of. Like I was the top priority, as if you had only my surgery to perform—when in reality I know that you have many patients and surgeries. I just loved, and still do!, the quality of time and attention you’ve given to me and my friends.

All your “ Gray hairs and sleepless nights” I caused you paid off, Dr. Pousti. My ‘girls’ are amazing now. The results are so beautiful; my husband definitely thinks so too. With the way they looked before, when you had me bring in photos of breasts I liked ( size, shape, cleavage), I didn’t think my results would be even near those photos. I figured they were just an idea; a goal of what I liked. So I thought ‘at least my breasts won’t have the symmastia, bottoming out, and capsulation anymore’. Everyone has gone out of their way to make me feel informed, comfortable, and confident with my chosen procedures. I had what is commonly referred to as the ‘mommy make-over’. (Technically I had a breast lift, tummy tuck & lipo-suction in the surrounding areas)

Dr.Pousti has a unique way of making the patient feel beautiful even before there is any actual surgery done. He and his staff were very thorough when explaining all of my procedures. Before the surgery we looked at photos together to make sure my expectations would be in line with the actual results. Everyone was very receptive to questions and extremely honest in their feedback.

Following the surgery it was strongly recommended that I stay a few nights at “The Hideaway”. It is a privately run center staffed by the nicest & most helpful nurses. I found it to be an invaluable way to ease into self care.

Post surgery, Dr Pousti & his staff have been so accommodating. Being from out of town, for the most part we communicate through email and over the telephone. Each of my questions have been answered promptly. When I do need to come into the office they make every effort to work around my travel plans.

While I am still in the recovery process I am already thrilled with my surgical results! My breasts have been restored to their beautiful youthful selves. From top to bottom, my clothing fits me so differently, that I feel as though I have a new wardrobe.

I can not thank Dr. Pousti & his entire staff enough for all they have done & continue to do. I would highly recommend him for anyone considering a ‘Mommy Make-Over’.

“I have had ‘bags’ under my eyes most of my life, and for some reason was hesitant to do any kind of surgery, because I had a fear of not looking natural. So finally at age 42, I decided to look into it because I knew I would look a lot younger and fresher if the puffiness was gone. I consulted 2 other doctors in La Jolla first, but decided to look into it more and after hearing about Dr. Pousti, decided to also see him, even though his office was way further than the other doctors, and from my home in La Jolla.

From the first visit I found him an extremely honest, knowledgeable and trusting man; just the kind of good feeling you hope to get when you’re going for such a big decision. His office staff also gave me a very positive feeling, where you could see everyone was involved in some part of the patient care, and acted like one big family.

The other great thing that helped me choose him was his website. I needed to see before and after pictures of other patients with my situation, and his pictures and explanations were very helpful in making my decision firmer.

The staff and the doctor explained the pre-op and surgery procedure very clearly, and the surgery itself was probably the most ‘painless’, easy part!! I basically just said ‘hello’ and ‘goodbye’ to the doctor, not remembering any pain or discomfort during, or, after the surgery, to the point that I did NOT even take an Advil or Tylenol, let alone the strong pain meds that I had bought!! That part was amazing; I have taken more pain meds from a dental procedure!

I did the procedure a few months ago, and I have not been happier about my decision (except regretting why I didn’t do it sooner!). I look a lot fresher and younger, and I get compliments from everyone who’s seen me (even those who didn’t want me to go through it, saying that I looked fine anyways). They can’t help but be pleased with the results and have to admit it’s the best thing I’ve done. They’re so happy with Dr. Pousti’s job they keep telling me I have to get him a big gift!!!

And of course now that I’m done with the surgery, I hear that he’s opening a new office in La Jolla!! I wish he’d done that a few months ago!! But he was worth all the long drives, and I would have gone even further to see him. Some things just have to be done with the best doctor, and whom you trust the most. Dr. Pousti proved to be above and beyond all that I had heard about him”.

As with anyone who is thinking of having cosmetic surgery, safety is a great concern, and then there are the results. You want to know that at the end of it all, you have the results you were looking for. I spoke with several doctors prior to coming to Dr. Pousti and I did my research on cosmetic surgery. After my first meeting with Dr Pousti, I knew that I found the person I wanted to do my breast augmentation and tummy tuck. Dr. Pousti took the time to explain the process and was more than willing to answer all my questions. He wanted to make sure that I would be happy with the results and reassured me that he would do all that could be done to make it a safe experience. During my initial appointment and all subsequent appointments, I had the opportunity to meet with some of Dr. Poust’s patients who were there for follow-ups. I was able to see his work and ask questions. I found this to be extremely helpful and it gave me great confidence in his abilities.

Well, it’s been 4 months and I have to tell you that I couldn’t be more pleased with the way I look and how well I feel. The first two months are a bit difficult, but as the discomfort begins to subside and the swelling goes down, you can see Dr. Pousti’s amazing work. I have been told that my breast look very natural and have been asked, ” Have you lost weight, you look great. I think that says a lot about Dr. Pousti’s skills.

My experience with Dr. Pousti and his staff has been great. They not only demonstrated professionalism throughout the entire process, but also were very friendly and sensitive to my needs. If I have any other surgery done, it will be done by Dr Pousti.

I had a breast augmentation in September 2007 and I am very pleased with the results!! Before my surgery I was a very active 20 year old and enjoyed riding horses competitively, running barrels, as well as keeping up with two boys under 6 as a live-in nanny. Dr. Pousti and other patients assured me that I would still be able to do the things I loved, I would just have boobs! Boy, were they right! I think I was able to climb up and sit on my horses, on my own power, in 3 short weeks! I thought that was pretty amazing! I gave myself another month before returning to my usual routine to give my body all the time it needed to heal fully. I literally had no cleavage before my surgery and I went to a size C. I still have no trouble riding my horses, running, and living an active life style. The only marked difference in my life is that now I enjoy shopping for bras, swim suits, and cute dresses! I had a very small bust before my surgery so I had stretch marks on both sides but they went away very quickly as did the pain post-op. The surgery left very minimal scars, about ¼ inches long in diameter under each nipple. I want to personally thank Dr. Pousti and his team for making me feel welcome in their office and for giving me confidence after the surgery and peace of mind from start to finish. I strongly encourage women who are considering breast augmentation to do themselves a favor and put their trust in the best: Dr. Pousti!

Okay – writing this review means I’m publicly announcing my first (and hopefully only) trip into the world of plastic surgery. After researching many doctors on line and getting referrals from people I know who have had breast augmentation, I decided to schedule a consultation with Dr. Pousti.

My first appoint was at the La Jolla office – very nice and discreet office with overly friendly staff. The staff makes you feel totally comfortable with out making you feel like they’re sizing you up.

First one of the gals take you into a room and explain the difference between silicone and saline implants and discuss the process of the surgery with you. They also show you albums of past patients so that you can get a feel of what exactly you are looking for. You are given a packet with testimonials and phone numbers of previous patients which you are welcome to contact.

I was lucky enough to be there when one of his other patients, who was 3 weeks post-op, was in for a check-up and was willing to “share”. She looked amazing and at that point I decided I had found my doctor.

DR. Pousti is super nice and charming, made me feel totally at ease and wants to make sure your having surgery for the right reasons.

I returned for my pre-op appt about 2 weeks before my scheduled procedure to meet with Dr. Pousti to go over sizing. I had been scared by a few of my friends about going too big, but had talked to other people who’s only regret was not going big enough. I was honest with Dr. Pousti telling him that my “lady lumps” were not in the same place they were when I was 20ish and that I was a non-bra wearing gal and wanted my girls to be perky again. He advised me that he could totally achieve the look that I wanted and that the first pix I chose were a little conservative – I was nervous but totally agreed. If I was going to pay for a boob job, I wanted to have results I didn’t regret. Again being totally personable, he told me if I needed to see or talk to him again before my surgery, that I was more than welcome to call, email or come in again. I did converse with him again over email first, then by phone – he promptly responded.

Day of the procedure, I was extremely nervous – I had never had any type of surgery before. His staff at Alvarado was extremely nice and caring. I remember being wheeled into the OR by his cute nurse Mike, then having his anesthesiologist telling me I’d be in a happy place within 15 seconds, while Dr. Pousti held my hand. My biggest fear is waking up during surgery and seeing my body cut open – UUHHGG!

Next thing I knew, I woke up in the recovery room and was automatically noticed by a nurse and asked about my pain, then given more happy drugs through my IV. After about an hour in recovery I was moved into another room and my hubby was called to come see me. I was on a good one, given some ice chips and then free to go after all my stats where checked one last time. I also had a little flower arrangement from Dr. Pousti and his staff – very sweet.

That afternoon and everyday that followed, they called my hubby to make sure everything was going okay. They also scheduled for me to come in have the bandages removed. I was so surprised at how minimal the incision was – and Dr. Pousti assured me that although they weren’t pretty just yet (only 3 days after), that they were going to be beautiful – and I could actually picture that.

I then received a call the next day scheduling an appt to come in to be taught how to massage my new additions.

I am so surprised at how lovely and thorough everyone in his office has been. My recovery is long from over, but I am definitely going to recommend Dr. Pousti to anyone who asks for a referral.

I highly recommend Dr. Pousti and his staff!! I am in a design field and know design is in the details. Dr. Pousti listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered. I had a breast augmentation Sept 3rd. going from a small A (very little breast tissue) to a mid C. They are perfectly proportioned to my body and look phenomenally natural – exactly what I asked for! The whole experience was painless. Of course you feel uncomfortable after surgery but I was off pain meds in 3 days. I was supremely impressed that he doesn’t use an instrument to build the pocket for the implant. He gently builds the pocket with his fingers to keep nerve damage to a minimum – I had sensation back within weeks. The worst part was sleeping sitting up! I had previously consulted with another plastic surgeon before finding Dr. Pousti. After looking through tons of before & after pictures, meeting with his wonderful staff and of course Dr. Pousti – I knew he was the man for the job!

Thank you Dr. Pousti and staff (Sorry, I can’t remember everyone’s’ names but Daisy was awesome!) You guys are truly the best!!

I was referred to Dr. Pousti from a long time family friend who could not say enough great things about her personal experience with him and his staff. Upon my first visit to his La Mesa office, I was warmly received by his all female staff. Although I was unprepared to answer many of the questions asked as I was just recently seriously considering surgery, his staff was very patient and understanding. I received answers to questions I never even would have thought to ask! Dr. Pousti and his staff were very honest and respectful. I was able to see and hear other patient’s experiences in person without the doctor or staff in the room to ensure my comfort. I left his office after my first visit knowing he was going to be my doctor and I booked the surgery shortly after! My next visit was for my pre-op appointment and I became very nervous during the explanation of all the pre-op/post-op instructions. However, the minute Dr. Pousti walked in the room, I was put at ease. He has a very calming presence about him and a way to ensure you that he is going to be taking very good care of you. On the day of my surgery, my pre-op nurse was sweet, bubbly, and very gentle. Dr. Pousti came to talk to me before the surgery and told me not to worry as they have done thousands and thousands of these procedures. While I felt that was reassuring enough, he then said “but today we will be doing our best”. If I had any reservations at that point, he blew them away! He left the pre-op room asking me what kind of music I liked and said he would see me in the OR. It was time! I kissed my boyfriend and walked to the OR with his nurse. I knew there was no turning back now! I got on the table and positioned myself. There were several women working fast to prep me and the room. Dr. Pousti must have seen my eyes wide and wandering. He came to the side of the bed, held my hand in his and rubbed my shoulder with his other. He said “I’m right here, and I’ll be here the whole time”. I felt the anesthesia enter my IV, I looked up at Dr. Pousti and he said “turn up that country music”, I remember smiling and I was out! I woke up in the recovery room, the nurse assisted me with my clothes and got me ready to go as she instructed my sister and boyfriend on my aftercare.

All post-op visits to Dr. Pousti’s office have been amazing! The staff called me every day for two weeks after my surgery to check on me! My recovery was quick and smooth. I am overwhelmingly pleased with my results! I feel as though Dr. Pousti knew EXACTLY what I wanted without me even having to thoroughly explain myself. He is a truly gifted person and the most humble, gentile doctor I have had the pleasure of meeting. His staff is professional, fun, sweet, honest, and genuine. I have referred him to many clients and friends of mine and I would encourage anyone and everyone to consult him prior to making a final decision on any surgery! Thank you Dr. Pousti and thank you to all the fabulous women you have as your staff!

Breast Augmentation – I was nervous at first but it all went away on the day of my consultation with Dr. Pousti and his staff. I was immediately comfortable with him and his staff. Dr. Pousti is a down to earth doctor who listens to what you want and he will explain everything you need and want to know. His entire practice is all about the patient.

After three previous consultations in the SD area Dr. Pousti was the last I saw and I just knew right away he was the one I wanted to perform my breast augmentation. Working in the health care field I can say from the consultation to post-op I had the best experience a patient could have. The first time I saw my breasts I was in love with them and even though there was swelling they were perfect!

The office calls you everyday 2 weeks post-op to ensure you are doing well and if you have any questions that may arise during your recovery. I had surgery 7 weeks ago and now I am out of the SD area so I am able to keep in touch with Dr. Pousti’s office via email. If I had to do it all over again Dr. Pousti is my number one choice!

I want to thank you all for being dedicated professionals yet having a warm and caring environment for those of us under duress of surgery issues! From my first contact with your office receptionist, I had a hunch that I had chosen the right surgeon for my breast surgery repairs! Then Dr. Pousti, when you took the time to call me personally on Saturday to discuss my procedure issues and options. I was convinced I had found the best surgeon—–I looked no further!! Knowing I wasn’t very enthused about breast implant repair/replacement you put me at ease with your down to earth, casual, personal nature-that I no longer was afraid. Even though you have a very busy practice I never felt rushed or “just a patient”. Especially you and Vanessa made me feel like an old friend. Thank you so much for caring! The surgery and recovery was much easier than I anticipated-what a relief! I began my plastic surgery adventure by reading many of the testimonials on Dr. Pousti’s website. Now here I am, six months later, lucky enough to share my thoughts and opinions on such an amazing doctor.

At the beginning of my search, I was still undecided whether I just wanted a breast lift or a tummy tuck in conjunction with the lift. The several doctors I interviewed prior to Dr. Pousti pressured me to do both procedures. I knew I had found the right doctor when the exact opposite happened when I spoke with Dr. Pousti. He urged me to consider the benefits of both procedures but did not pressure me in any way. In other words, he wanted what was best for ME – not best for his bank account! In the end, I chose to do both procedures and on March 1, 2011, I had my mommy-makeover (a tummy tuck and a breast lift). And while surgery is never easy, his office and the surgery center he uses, gave us all the information we needed to ensure post-op success. Everything from setting us up with a nurse to come home with us, to providing the appropriate medicine to make me comfortable, to calling every day to check on us – all things to make my surgery as easy as possible. Due to no fault of Dr. Pousti, I encountered a minor set-back when I developed an infection in my abdominal incision site. Here’s where Dr. Pousti and his staff distinguished themselves as exceptional care-givers. The follow up care and concern for my well-being gave me peace of mind that everything was going to be ok… and it was! I had a beautiful result and will never regret having the work done. Had my surgical procedure gone perfectly, this would have been a great experience. Based on their care and response to my complications, I now feel like this chapter in my life was extraordinary. I continue to be a loyal patient using other services his office offers, knowing that whatever I need to do, it will be handled with the utmost expertise and great care.

I went to Dr.Pousti in April 2010 for a breast augmentation. He was recommended to me by a neighbor of mine. During the consultation I was able to meet many women who were in the office for appointments. All the women has just gotten there breasts done. It was nice to know right away what his work looked like first hand, I called back next day to book a surgery day. On the day of surgery everything went very smooth and was easy. No pain at all or nausea when I woke up just a short 60 minutes after surgery had started. The pain killer and muscle relaxers did the trick the first week. No pain at all. I stayed on top of the meds and the first week went well. Every day after surgery someone from the office called to check on me. It was very reassuring to knwo they cared about my recovery and wanted to make sure I had no questions or concerns. A few sharp pains on one side (due to the nerves reconnecting), but nothing that brought me to my knees. A year post op I went back for scar revision. I had gotten such big implants that my skin stretched so much I had a little bit bigger scar then I wanted. The surgery was painless, with the exception of nerves, and only took about 20 minutes. I am 2 weeks post op from the scar revision and they look amazing! You can barely see the scar at all. I love the size of my breats and can’t wait to go back after having kids to go bigger and get a lift if I need it. What i love most, is all of these post ops and scar revision are covered in the initial cost. Totally worth it! I love Dr. Pousti and his staff.

I had a great experience with Dr. Pousti and his staff during the entire process…from pre surgery appointments to post surgery appointments. They answered all of my questions and made me feel really comfortable. I get a lot of compliments with my new look and I am very happy with the results. I have already had to tell several people who my doctor was because they were so impressed with the results!

I cannot thank Dr. Pousti and his wonderful staff enough for the experience that I had during my journey through breast augmentation. Dr. Pousti came highly recommended from my best friend, who also had breast augmentation with Dr. Pousti and his team. I had thought about breast augmentation surgery for 10 years, and have been to several consultations throughout the years. After having my twins, I was left with saggy and deflated breasts and wanted this surgery even more so than before. Every time we have had an appointment, we are treated with the utmost respect and are made to feel extremely comfortable. Dr. Pousti and the girls that work for him are the friendliest people I have ever come into contact with in the medical field. One of my biggest concerns with having breast augmentation was finding a surgeon that was going to listen to what I wanted and not just what the surgeon thought would look good to them. I did not want my breasts to look “fake”, but just wanted them filled out and perky again. Dr. Pousti listened to every work I said and I cannot thank him enough for that. That is a Doctor that truly cares for his patients and this kind of care is hard to come by anymore. My breasts have turned out perfect and they are exactly what I imagined that they would look like. I am now about 6 weeks post operation. Dr. Pousti is so precise and detail oriented that it’s hard to tell where my incision was. This doctor is passionate about what he does and is a true artist!

I want to also thank the team that works with Dr. Pousti in the surgery center. I was well taken care of on the day of surgery by Dr. Pousti, his nurses and the anesthesiologist. Again, my expectations were far exceeded. I was given warm blankets and kept very comfortable as I was waiting for Dr. Pousti to finish my Mom’s breast surgery. Dr. Pousti talked about my goals right before the surgery as well and made markings on my chest to show how these goals would be achieved. When I woke up, I was right next to my Mom in the recovery area. We recovered together in the hospital for a while, and then we were helped into the car and headed home. Dr. Pousti’s staff called us everyday for a week to check on us and answered any questions or concerns. I still received phone calls about 2-3 weeks after surgery. This whole team genuinely cares about their patient’s well being and are eager to help in any way they can. I would recommend Dr. Pousti to anyone, hands down. You won’t find a better doctor out there who is double board certified and who listens to what you want as a patient. I would do this all over again in a heartbeat. I am considering a tummy tuck in the future with Dr. Pousti as well. Once again, thank you to all of the lovely ladies who took such good care of me. I want to especially thank the man that created a new confidence in me, Dr. Pousti.

I searched for months for a doctor who would truly listen to my needs of what I wanted my breasts to look like. After meeting doctor Pousti and his staff I know that I had finally found a doctor that I was comfortable with. I had my consultation appointment in the Murrieta office and four months later had the surgery in San Diego. I will warn you that the first three days were hell. I had to have help with everything and all I wanted to do was sleep. After the fourth day, I was able to stay awake for longer periods of time but still needed help sitting up and lifting things. During my first follow up appointment I was able to see what they looked like for the first time. Going into the surgery I was a small A cup and slightly uneven. Three days after the surgery I was huge! My breasts were hard and bruised. About two weeks later I went in for a check up with some concerns about my left breast sitting lower than my right. Doctor Pousti assured me that it was normal. Some women’s breast will drop at the same time but because mine were uneven in the beginning it might take a bit longer for my right breast to drop. I continued to have weekly check up appointments and after eight months the right breast had finally dropped. I am now almost three years from my surgery and don’t regret any of my decisions. I am very pleased with my new body and would do it again. Doctor Pousti was knowledgeable and supportive during the process along with his office staff.

About 6 years ago after 20 years of dealing with DDD breasts, I found Dr. Pousti online and read some of the testimonials from other patients and decided on going in for a consultation. I was really comfortable and impressed with Dr. Pousti right away. I scheduled my appointment for that August. I told Dr. Pousti that I wanted to go down to a small C, medium D cup. The day of my scheduled surgery, the staff and Dr. Pousti made me feel very relaxed and even played my favorite Garth Brooks as I drifted off to sleep. When I awoke in the recovery room, I actually felt no pain and was surprised. The rest of the day I slept. Over the next few days, I felt increasingly better, by the 5th day I actually went to a girlfriend’s birthday party.

It has now been 6 years since by surgery and I am so happy – my scars are hardly noticeable. I am able to do things that I couldn’t do before with my over sized breasts! I returned to Dr. Pousti’s office with my 15 year old daughter (yes, she is 15!) because I don’t want her to suffer 20 years with her 32F breast that are only going to get bigger. My daughter loved Dr. Pousti and his awesome staff right away and is looking forward to her breast reduction soon.

I initially came across Dr. Pousti’s name on one of the many plastic surgery forums and the more sites I visited, the more his name camp up. Not only were the pictures documenting his patient’s results spectacular, but the reviews and testimonials of the care received convinced me that I had to at least meet for a consultation.

During my consultation, I knew that this was going to be my surgeon. Dr. Pousti has a demeanor that instantly puts you at ease. All of my questions were answered and concerns addressed, but more importantly Dr. Pousti gave me the confidence that the results I was looking for was achievable. When they say a picture is worth a thousand words, in this instance, it is everything AND in this office, not only do you see pictures-you meet with actual patients! For me, this practice is invaluable; I had the opportunity to ask questions and hear about experiences firsthand. Needless to say I left with my surgery date scheduled.

My results are better than I ever hoped for. When I look at the pictures that I brought to Dr. Pousti as examples of what I wanted to achieve I am satisfied beyond words-his skill as a surgeon and aesthetic eye for beauty gave me exactly what I envisioned. There may be other surgeons capable of providing similar results, but I doubt that they have the personable qualities as Dr. Pousti. He is one of the kindest, gentlest, honest Doctors that I have had the pleasure to meet. In a word “Genuine”. His office goes above and beyond to ensure his patient’s comfort, both physically and emotionally. The quality of care and the personal attention that I have received throughout my transformation (and yes, it had been a transformation) is too numerous to address here.

If you are considering plastic surgery, please do yourself the favor of meeting with Dr. Pousti and his team. It is one of the best decisions I have made, everyday I look in the mirror and absolutely love what I see.

I came in to see Dr Pousti , for a Mommy Makeover. Having 3 kids all weighing over 9lbs; really took a toll on my body. I would find myself exercising, and not losing my belly. It was very frustrating. The day I came in for my consultation, I was immediately welcomed by his wonderful staff. I really felt like I belonged there. After meeting with the Doctor, My husband and I knew he was the one. Dr. Pousti really listened to my concerns, and answered all of my husbands and my questions. (There were a lot of them.) The best thing about his office was the fact that I got to meet and talk to all kinds of patients that had the same things done. We decided that I was going to have a breast lift with implants, and I full tummy tuck; which goes all the way around to my backside, to get rid of my muffin top. The day of the surgery came quick, and I was very scared. Dr. Pousti and the hospital staff were there letting me know everything was going to be OK. I felt so much better. The surgery was 6 hrs long and it went smoothly. The first week was very painful, and I don’t remember too much about it; other than it hurt. The time flew by very fast, and by the 6^th day I didn’t need any more pain meds. I am now 8 weeks out, and I not only feel amazing; but I look amazing as well. I look forward to my appointments at his office. His staff is so warm and caring. Dr Pousti did an amazing job on me. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. He is truly a gifted surgeon; A real artist. He has raised my confidence so much. I would recommend him to anybody. I feel very blessed to have had Dr Pousti to perform my surgery.

Its been a year since my mommy makeover; and I couldn’t be happier with my body. I look and feel great. I couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon. A few months ago; Dr. Pousti noticed I had a small leak in my left breast.(It was actually a blessing in disguise.) He went in, fixed it, and made them fuller.

Because I had a breast lift during my first surgery; I couldn’t go as full as I wanted without putting my healing at risk. (That’s why it was a blessing in disguise.) Needless to say; my boobs now look perfect. Plus the healing time was a piece of cake!!! I love my DR. and his staff. It may sound funny; but it’s true. The whole staff is very friendly and has always set the tone by providing a welcoming and comfortable environment. I always look forward to my appointments. I can’t thank Dr. Pousti enough for what he has done for me. He’s amazing. I feel BEAUTIFUL; and I haven’t felt this way in a long, long time.

After having 3 pregnancies and 2 sets of twins as a surrogate mother, I had really put my body through the ringer. My stomach was full of stretch marks, I had a hernia, and my abdominal wall had been stretched beyond the natural limits. I had lost all the weight I had gained from the pregnancies however my stomach always looked like I was pregnant. I tried every workout, and diet and nothing worked, so I finally admitted to myself that surgery was the only way. Being in the medical field myself (OB/GYN) I was confident that I knew what I was looking for in a surgeon. After my husband and I met with Dr. Pousti I knew he was perfect. The minute I walked into the office I was greeted by his amazing staff, and I was called back before I even finished my paperwork. The entire time I was in his office for my consult I was either with his nurses or Dr. Pousti himself. He took the time to answer all my questions and I never felt rushed. During my physical consult I was very comfortable and he was very reassuring on the results that I wanted. I also loved the fact he didn’t try to sell me on other procedures that I didn’t ask for, or try to recommend other changes. I also got to meet with 3 other patients after their procedures and talk to them about their experiences which were all great.

I had the extended tummy tuck with lipo on my back to give me my curve back. The day of my procedure Dr. Pousti showed up on time, which if anyone knows that’s rare of some doctors, and asked if I had any questions and kept me completely eased. The surgery went great without any complications, and after my nurse, that his office suggested, took me back to my hotel room and gave my mom clear instructions and graphs of how to take care of me from positions to my medications. I am now 8 weeks post-op from my surgery and have bought my first swim suit in years, and even enjoyed the shopping trip. I now love to get dressed in the morning, and have all my self confidence back. Each day I wake up so happy that I made the decision to have the surgery and have Dr. Pousti as my doctor. I love him and everyone at his office they have taken such great care of me during the whole recovery process. They even called me regularly (including weekends) to check on me. I can honestly say the Dr. Pousti has changed my life.

Needless to say, I scheduled a date for my surgery that very day because there was absolutely no doubt in my mind that Dr. Pousti was the best surgeon I could find for this very delicate, personal, and at times, unnerving surgery I was about to embark upon. The day of the surgery came and of course I had 2- 3 days of moderate discomfort, but then was practically back to my normal self, stopped the need for medication, and even returned to work after only 5 days. As for the results of my operation, my boyfriend and I cannot be happier with how my breasts look even now at Day 8, and they keep looking even better and better each day. I have a very petite frame and explained to Dr. Pousti that I wanted my breasts to be full while at the same time maintaining a very natural look that was proportional to the rest of my body and he delivered exactly that. I have zero regrets about going through with the operation and am so thankful that Dr. Pousti has such amazing skill and an eye for beauty and would honestly recommend him to anyone who is looking to have a procedure done.

I am writing this for anyone who is searching for a truly gifted,
skilled & experienced surgeon.
Before I decided on who I was going to my first consul with, I searched
online through countless surgeons & was not blown away by any before &
after pics & when I did see a pic I liked from a surgeon it was few & far
between within that surgeons portfolio which scared the heck out of me
figuring it was “hit or miss” with them…
When I came across Dr.Pousti’s pics & reviews my fears & doubts on going
through with breast augmentation finally vanished! Not only is he Double
Board certified (which is HUGE in my book!!!) but his before & after pics
speak for themselves!! The icing on the cake is when I started reading all of
