I decided to go in for a consultation with Dr. Pousti at a point in my life when I just decided it was time to do something nice for myself for a change. I had been working excessive hours for many months, and I knew that I had a chance for a week off coming up; I was too exhausted to go on a vacation (besides, my work keeps my on travel a lot; I just wanted to stay at home), so I decided to go ahead, gather some nerve, and look into this cosmetic surgery that I had been mulling over for nearly a year.
Am I ever glad that I did! This is my first experience with this sort of thing. From the very first day, I was extremely impressed by the time and level of care that Dr. Pousti and the members of his staff showed me. Dr. Pousti consistently went out of his way to ensure that I understood my options, the likely results, and what I should expect during the recovery stage of my procedures. And this level of concern persisted well past the operation itself; I suspect that many physicians might tend to give you a pretty low priority after the actual operation had been completed, but this was certainly not the case with Dr. Pousti. I was receiving calls from his office months after the procedure, just making sure that things were okay with me. I was extremely impressed by this.
And how were the results of my procedures?
To say that I am satisfied would be an understatement. I had my operation last March. Through the summer, I repeatedly had people complimenting me on my appearance. I’m 42 years old, and this is something that has never happened to me before! Dr. Pousti did such a good job, it really motivated me to adhere to a good diet, as well as spend time regularly in the gym. As a result, I’m probably in the best shape I’ve been in since my early twenties. I now make a point of scoping out his website every few weeks, just in case he offers any new procedures that might interest me. Obviously, I would whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Pousti to anyone pursuing or even considering Cosmetic Surgery.

Yes, I’ve put back on a bit more weight, but I’ve also spent a lot of time in the gym, so I’m hoping that it’s mostly muscle. the first time last month, right after the holidays. Of course, the compliments are really gratifying (and deserved….hey, I’m pleased with the way I look!). I thought of you today, so I thought I’d drop you a quick line. This morning I was taking a hike (bare-chested) when I passed someone sitting on the side of the trail who shouted out, “Hey man, great pecs! I mean it! Awesome!”. Of course, all I could think was “Thank you, Dr. Pousti!”. Of course, this wasn’t the first time I’ve heard that comment; I’ve heard it quite a bit, actually, over the last year and a half since my surgery. But I just wanted to send you a quick thanks again.
Attached is a photo of me from last month. I’ve blanked out my face, so feel free to show it to any patient who might be interested in the sort of procedures I had. You’ll notice that, in the last year and a half, I’ve managed to keep my stomach nicely flat, and my muscle tone is vastly improved. And I think the chest looks better than ever (I’m not sure why…maybe the implants have settled, or maybe it’s just the additional muscle I’ve put on). Also, I just turned 43, but over the previous year I’ve had more woman flirting with me than all the previous 41 years put together (which I find highly amusing and gratifying). Anyway, thanks again!

My experience with Dr. Pousti and his staff has been nothing but positive. After several surgeries left my chest wall somewhat disfigured, I began searching for an alternative and less invasive way to correct the cosmetic appearance of my chest.
Along with the welcoming kindness from the doctor and staff, it was evident upon my first visit that Dr. Pousti’s primary concern is the health and safety of his patients. He takes the time to listen thoroughly to all questions and answers them in great detail. He was very honest in explaining the procedure and the necessary restrictions on my part for a successful recovery.
Dr. Pousti was also very meticulous in the creation of the moulage, making sure every angle would reach desirable results. We spent several visits creating the moulage until we were both satisfied with the result.
The surgical staff were all very professional and comforting. Dr. Pousti spent plenty of time with me prior to the surgery reviewing the plan and calming my nerves. The recovery from surgery was quite uneventful and the pain was adequately controlled with the prescribed medications. By the third day after the procedure, my pain was controlled with Tylenol alone.
I’m very pleased with the results of the surgery and am very happy I went through with it. Dr. Pousti and his staff have been very supportive and caring throughout the whole experience. They are superb and second to none.
