Q&A: I LIVE BY THE LAGREE PILATES METHOD. NEARLY EVERYTHING IS FROM A PLANKING POSITION.

"I live by the Lagree pilates method. Nearly everything is from a planking position. After a silicon under muscle BA, when is it safe to continue that kind of exercise again? What your thoughts are on best post-operative movement and care?"

DR. POUSTI: I generally ask patients to keep their arms down by their side during the recovery process. I have found that this helps during the recovery / while the breast implant is needing to settle into the pocket that was created during the procedure.

My patients are able to start lower body workouts after week 2. I recommend no upper body workouts until everything has healed and the breast implants have settled.
