DR. POUSTI: I generally ask patients to keep their arms down by their side during the recovery process. I have found that this helps during the recovery / while the breast implant is needing to settle into the pocket that was created during the procedure.
My patients are able to start lower body workouts after week 2. I recommend no upper body workouts until everything has healed and the breast implants have settled.
